I remember when these came out. I read all the magazine tests. It was a big deal back then to have a liquid cooled six.

i just asked my dad, he said his is the 300th bike that rolled out of the assembly line...oh yeah!! got ta do a vid of it. so 79 was the first year for the 1300. that is sweet

what makes this bike rare? the year it came out. wanna know because my dad has one

Wow. They are rare because @ the time they were very expensive and big and no one would buy them. Our local dealer had one sit on the floor for almost two years before it sold. Now, it's a pretty cool bike to have.
