this is an amazing film. i get so into meryl and her characters she portrays, they feel so real.

although, i hate to admit, i laugh a bit in the scene in her bedroom where she is trying on all different outfits to go meet frank. 80s fashion, oh boy!

I just adore this film seen it loads of times. So beautiful, yet so real. This happened to me, I met this guy whilst I was married to a violent man, this guy was so very gentle and sincere and I let him go.... and when I finally took up the courage to leave my husband, it was too late. He was gone. That was 12 years ago. I have never forgotten him nor have I ever stopped regretting letting him go. Such a beautiful film with such beautiful memories for me.
