I'm so looking forward to his return. If it was him shooting all those 3's instead of Batum we would have won more games. Webster still has great potential, only 22 and still getting better. Him and Oden are both players to really watch next year.
they are both good. But the only reason martell starts because he plays hard on the defensive side this year. Everygame martell has potential to school and so does outlaw. I am happy if bradon played 1, martell 2, and outlaw small forward
Back to back player of the week in the western conference...I'd say he is well on his way to being a leader. However, they have several players that can fill the role and their is mutual respect throughout the squad.
Good veteran presence is hard to come by and in many cases it would disrupt the team atmosphere that is developing. They've got a great veteran presence on the sideline in Nate McMillan. In a few years they will all be veterans.
When Oden and Aldridge are playing together this team is going to be extremely difficult to stop. Their games compliment one another on the inside and they will be surrounded by great outside shooters. They are young and developing and they are already pretty solid. Strong bench. Next couple of years are going to be exciting.
I just think that they need a good veteran maybe in his early 30s in the starting lineup.A big man, too.Something like Karl Malone's body, but with Tim Duncan's kinda leadership.
While your praying for some unrealistic dream, the Blazers will be winning games with team basketball. Pryzbilla is a great role player and he'll be excellent backing up Oden. Frye is a great spot up shooter. Aldridge is producing right around 20 and 10. Throw Oden in the line up and BAM!!!
Personally, Duncan makes me fall asleep and I don't see him as a great leader.
I don't see this team needing any extra presence on the floor. Brandon Roy has stepped up and become the leader for this team, and does a great job. Remember he spent all 4 years playing college ball before joining the league, unlike most players.

I like Webster but I think Outlaw should start over him, Webster is bad this year, he has just had some hot streaks.

A bad team? I'd say a young team. They're far from a bad team.
p.s. Thanks for James Jones!

they need a leader.Hopefully Brandon Roy will step up and become one,and once they get Oden, they might be a force.

Yeah, as the scores are a little...Discouraging. It brings back bad memories. Hopefully my Blazers do better this year.
