  • not only does this dick face not have a combat action ribbon, he doesn't have an iraq or afghanistan campain medal or a sea service deployment ribbon.....talks a lot of shit about the war for someone who's only seen it on tv.

  • This is one of the easiest fake uniforms I've ever had to identify. God it's so easy to get a uniform right. What fools.

  • I am an Iraqi war vet, and a Marine and I AM PISSED OFF AT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. They screwed me on my education benefits, and they say I owe money when they didn't pay me for 5 months what I AM ENTITLED TO! Our benefits are true extensions of our low payments we receive from the time we hit boot camp to our last days in the service. I love my Marine Corps, but these liars are in our office. The DEMOCRATS use the poor to their advantage blinding the needs of their FIGHTERS! MARINES!

  • Bit old to be a Lance Corporal isn't he? No surprise.

  • I think this guy is isolated from rest of the veteran.

Most other veterans against the war had organized demonstration at RNC. Where pro-war profiteers and anti-veterans at.

    I don't get this guy's logic.

I also don't understand the people criticizing this guy's action.

  • The DNC also profits greatly from the war in Iraq. WHo bnenefits more from the Iraq War Kennedy, or Jeff Sessions. Howard Dean did a terrific job in turning americans against their own country , for what?I kee phearing about how bad the GOP is, yet the DNC has had the absolute power to pull the troops from Iraq since 20067, yet they haven't done shit.

  • hamace:

Both parties are subject to the lobbying pressure for sure.

One major difference is that Repubs are almost always against veteran benefit adjustment while Democs are willing to look into it.

Is Repub policy kind to the vets? Hardly.

  • The last bill rejected by the House in 2005 was unnecessary. Put up just so the republicans could be seen rejecting a veterans bill.Vets have received more funding under Bush than ever. The numbers speak forthemselves.

  • hamace:

    Let the numbers speak, then.

Democs received more contribution from active soldiers and the families than Repubs at the last election.

What's better proof than that? Or you'd say soldiers are ignorant?

And how many other soldiers are protesting at the DNC, while all others are at RNC? Is he smarter than others?

  • There is no credible source for determining who troops are contributing. I will say that not a single soldier I know of supports the double speaking Democrats. The facts are this, the democrats along with republicans agreed to send troops into Iraq. Both sides profited greatly from the war. But the democrats profited twice by politicizing the war. They actually declarted it lost, when we won the war back in 05.Buhs is guilty of allowing the demos to get away with what they have done.

  • hamace:

I know what you mean by "no credibe source" meaning, Fox news didn't say so.

It was in the news everywhere else.

Do you watch real news channels?

  • No, credible sourse as in when I do a variety of searches on your claim I donnot come up with any government supported statistics. When you mention Fox, you expose yourself. I tune in to all the networks and hear their various slants. None mother to mention the fact that the Democrats promised to pull the troops in the 06 campaing but haven't said a word about the War since they took control of Congress.WHy hasn't NBC covered that?

  • hamace:

    Here you go.

    /watch?v=DlHKNe9WJoU

You should pay attention to the news before you make up your opinions.

  • hamace:

    No credible source?

Google by these key words, "Troops Deployed Abroad Give 6:1 to Obama"

    and see what you'll find.

Of course, if you are still in denial, nothing will convince you.

  • Think about this; What has Pelosi done about the trillions of doallars paid for bases never built. Has she evre called for an investigation. SHe has as much power as the president and could have pulled the troops from Iraq along time ago. But since her opposition to the war was all political and not based on any merit, why would she? I can't prove it, cause these ppol are so well protected, but how much has she profited from the demise of the US? Ask that of any politician.

  • Tell me why Obama said during the campaign "our economy is built from the ground up";and then went along wit hBush in giving 700billion to bankers that were deemed corrupt and incompetant by just about every hack in DC?Obama is continuing Bush bullshit, so far the WSJ and NPR are the only new agencies to have reported on that. Do you like the direction Obama is taking you? Its the same path Lenin took Russia, is it not?

  • hamace:

By the way, can you show me the source of the names you mentioned in your comment, Kennedy, Session and Dean making money over the war?

It never came to my attention, I maybe over looked

  • The Boston Herald for on is a great place to start. But what you need to do is your own research. Look at the firms in their respective districts. WHile Dean was not a representative, he did assist in the demoralizing the War in Iraq, but at the same time, he never pressed for the removal of troops after the democrats kicked ass in the 2006 elections.SInce that election there has been little rhetoric about the War which I apposed because Iknew it was going to be a money pit

  • jeff it takes a real man to fight for u.s.a AND GOD BLESS YOU HOPE THE BEST KEEP GOING

  • The police wonder why public approval for law enforcement officers is at an all time low in this country (less than 34%).

I'd hope some general would have marched his troops in full battlegear and weapons, right through the police without stopping. What are the police going to do against a main battle tank and trained soldiers? They are all bad-ass against unarmed civilians but they'd run in fear from the army.

One can only hope that there is a military coup.

  • Did we hear this guy speak at the RNC? Did he show up day-of to harass them? Inquiring minds want to know.

  • I wanted to see the "Soldiers for Halliburton" represented. Let them speak!

  • I don't know the whole story behind this. Did he just show up without notice that he wanted to read a letter? I hope not cuz the DNC has been planned for a while now, I hope he was smart enough to give some advance notice of his intentions

  • Very unprofessional Lance Corporal. There is no draft and nobody forced you, or will continue to force you to wear that uniform. Any military member in or out of uniform, protesting against this war, are only disrespecting those that sacrificed everything.

    "Never Forget"

  • This guy is doing what we should all do: Put aside the talk and put their words to the test!

    RON PAUL 08

  • All i have to say is THANK YOU for fighting for us!

  • show a little respect a-hole. You cowardly SGT A. BORJAS

  • Imjames33,

I believe you need to find a new country to move to. We don't want your kind soiling this great nation that our veterans have fought for.

Perhaps you will enjoy South Korea or Russia a little better. You don't deserve any of the freedoms America has to offer.

    Jake Phillips

    Sergeant USMC

    OIF II Veteran

  • Regardless of who you are or what organization you represent you really can't just show up and expect to be given the podium, even for a one page letter. That's just stupid. It's not as if the Republican National Convention will be any more cooperative with people who randomly want to walk in and speak to the crowd, nor should they be.

  • I haven't heard any Iraq war veterans speak. Maybe the democrats should be a little more responsible if they want to claim they're here for the vets, cops, firefighters and aren't even willing to hear what they have to say about it.

  • A republican administration has squandered the lives of thousands of enlisted men by entering into an unwinnable war under false pretenses, and ignoring the advice of generals and intelligence officials every step of the way. Maybe they should be "a little more responsible".

  • Does a president have the final say on campaigns such as Iraq? Or does the US Congress which has added billions to every war funding bill? Bush was shit, but Congress got us into the war and congress criticized it while they continue to fund it.Now they blame bush for killing jobs when the jobs have been going since 1994.You need to get past the republican evil/ democrat good thing. The DNC has had he power through most of the last 100 yrs.

  • fuck this horn blowin faggot! let maccain swin so he can keep his dumb ass in Iraq fuckin homo!

  • Hey Imjames33, show a little respect a-hole. You cowardly loser democrats, a person would have to be high to vote for you losers.
