  • well played, Mauer... :D stay cute Joe!!! <3

  • @FFFFbody really kid get a life or a wife

  • Mauer is a fantastic catcher but i dont think the new ballpark likes him very much

  • @FFFFbody sounds like a special radio host in the metro.

  • Sure,

It's nothing to him during an exhibition game... but it takes him half a season to do it again.. lol.

  • He aint worth 26million. Maybe 12 mill, but not 26. Completely overrated. Hitting singles in the first inning in the playoffs doesn't win games. This is all he's done. Took until now to hit a homerun in his own home park? Puckett was rewarded becoming second player with $20 million contract because he won 2 World Series. Mauer? Overrated, just like Hunter was.

  • Fuck off.

  • @pbmdh You fuck off punk-ass bitch

  • LOL Umad bro?

  • @pbmdh lol

  • @FFFFbody You sir are a fucking retard.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 You fuck off too

  • @FFFFbody You dont know much about anything do you?

  • @Mistamistagilb10 Am I wrong? Have you seen the last 2 ball gmes 9/1 and 9/2? Mauer was up to bat and with a hit coud've won the game. Game one ROOKIE Valentia won it. Game 2 Mauer grounded out for the 3rd out. And lost the game in 14 innings 10-9. You're just another rube, liberal Minnesotan that gets all gaga over him

  • @FFFFbody He's one of the best in the game. And is the best catcher. It's alright to be jealous.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 Yeah he is the best catcher. He's pretty dang good dare 'ol pilgrim, just not 26million.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 Hey ol' buckshot. Did you see last nights game? (9/17). Twins down 3-1, Twins up to bat, 7th innig, 2 outs, bases loaded, and who comes to bat? Good ol' Joey. As he walks to plate all the rubes in the stands stand up and cheer. I bet you were right there with your front row $250.00 ticket joining in the chant "I am rube!, I am rube!" What does Joey do? Flies out. I tell you old Buckshot, he ain't worth 26 million.

  • @FFFFbody Dude i already told you, it's alright to be jealous.

  • @FFFFbody lol....Okay man.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 So how do you think we'll do against The Dragon tomorrow? I swear if we lose again (the series) I'll head-butt the T.V.

  • @FFFFbody idk they better win. I almost killed someone after they lost last night. That was redonkulous. They had so many chances to win.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 It's over. It's all over. There done. Don't stand a chance....3 in a row against the Yanks. Mauer chokes again. What has he done in this series? 2 shit*y singles. Atleast my man (Cuddyer) has done something. I'm so disgusted and frustrated.

  • @FFFFbody Yupp i agree. That was pretty fucking pathetic. This shit is getting ridiculous.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 I can barely stand to say the name "Gardenhire". Oh well buddy, a bitter winter awaits us again. Maybe see you around next year.

  • @FFFFbody Lol yeah for sure. Have a good one.

  • @Mistamistagilb10 Just wanted to say I"m sorry for swearing at you before, too.

  • @FFFFbody Lol same here. Shit happens i guess.

  • And he hasn't hit a TF home run since.

I know his 23 mil/year contract doesn't start till next year, but do you think he could start playing like it started this year?

  • He just isn't having a great year so far. Then again, slumping and still having a .300 batting average isn't that bad.

  • @pbmdh I agree with that for sure. The only reason it looks bad is because his name is Joe Mauer. I know he's a little banged up this year. I read that he's been getting cortisone shots in his shoulder.. maybe that explains the throw in the All-Star game.. lol

  • @Rachelizabeth47

Lol yeah, that and it's the allstar game so he was probably really excited.

He'll pick it up this second half no doubt. I'm willing to bet his ending average with be around .320+. Maybe 15 homers, and about 100 RBI's.

  • @pbmdh Well.. his RBI number is so low because Span started off bad, and when the O-Dog was out, the 2-hole went something like 4 for 50.. he hasn't had much of a chance. I don't think the excitement has much to do with it because he's been in all star games before.

He probably should have been resting. And I do agree that he'll hit around .320 by the end of the year. I hope. Luckily for him, I guess, he isn't the only one who needs to step it up. There's this guy named Michael Cuddyer..

  • From the past couple games it seems like Cuddy is starting to heat up. Had a couple good hits plus an ages-due homer vs the Bluejays, and that huge double vs the Tigers. But yes, we need some O to step up. The one part that needs serious help is our starting pitching though. Seems like almost every game we play now the opponent is able to score 4-6 runs in the first 2-3 innings. Our bullpen has been damn-near lights out though.

  • @pbmdh I have been big on moving Cuddy down in the line up. I feel like Delmon Young and Jim Thome should be hitting ahead of him.. Cuddy is hitting 4th tonight.

I really hope he is turning it around because he damn near carried the team himself after Morneau went down last year, and we need that again.

I agree with you about the pen.. they're great, as long as they aren't overused.. See: Rays Series: July 2-4.

  • @Rachelizabeth47 yeah, Cuddy wont be the one carrying the team this year, it will be Delmon. Delmon has had 3RBI in each of his last 2 game and every hit has been a bullet

  • @JROCKminnesotaFL Agreed. I can't believe Souhan wants the Twins to trade him. Wtf! He's got the highest average with RISP in the AL, and I believe the most Twins RBI.

  • @Rachelizabeth47 Exactly, he is actually in 4th place in the American League in RBI(74) and is climbing quickly towards 1st since Cabrera(in 1st with 85) hasnt had one in a while. He has been clutch with a 420 something average with runners in scoring position. pretty awesome

  • @JROCKminnesotaFL -Joe Mauer should take some notes from him!

  • @Rachelizabeth47 hes batting .330 and of course he is going to slump more than anyone else. hes a catcher, hes taking foul balls back there and your knees can only take so much

  • @GriffinMcCarley He was at like .295 when I posted that, which is hardly a slump. Like I said, it only looked like a slump because his name is Joe Mauer, and everyone is used to Joe doing a lot better.

But he really isn't slumping. The main reason being a catcher is hard on him has little to do with the foul balls, but mostly with how tall he is and having to be in a crouch for so long.

  • Great video! I luv the announcer JUSTIN mornou hahaha

  • @paramoregirl1996 "MORNEAU"
