  • Parliament is the oldest democratic body in the world and it is housed at the Palace of Westminster. To bad they blew it up. Moore is 180 degrees out of phase. He sees Fascism as a force from the right, rather it is a force from the elite. Right or left has little to do with it. Fascism/Nazi have very little difference with Communism in their ends. They take a slightly different path. Hitler once said that Nazism and Communism were esecially the same thing. One is national the other global

  • @slothboy911

because people are foolish enough to expect a "V" to come and save them

  • GREEK REVOLUTION!!!!!WE ARE COMING AND WE ARE THOUSANDS!!!

  • Very true, this is not terrorism because the entire population is united by a common ideal that led to the release of a common government, which is the only executor of the true horror of political evil, humiliating, raping and murdering your own people, that is terrorism, the ideals that we teach are human pelicual and appeal to the best man!

  • is this china? cant seem to post anything remotely fanatical....lol

  • mmmmm....sounds like a good import...lets try it here

  • god bless the revolutionary....washington?

  • Love that scene but who was he

  • Yeah die you fucking Zionist's

  • BIG BIG BOOM!!!

  • wats this song i forget

  • @hellfire2638 1812 Overture. The finale to be precise.

  • This is not terrorism no.... terrorism is when one terrorizes the population. Quite the contrary, this was for the people, the emancipate them from the opression of the government. This was liberation. The entire film is symbolic to logic that is commonly overlooked in brainwashed societies such as the United States. If you look beyond the plot, you find that this can be applied to nearly every country today. One of the best films ever created, a masterpiece.

  • @yourvidisbad101 Not even close to the masterpiece that the original graphic novel was. Read it then watch the movie.

  • @yourvidisbad101 Amen, dude!

  • @yourvidisbad101 Still not quite as good as the comic though, but I agree with you completely.

  • @yourvidisbad101

I am from the United States and I loved this movie

I saw this I don't know how many times :)

  • @yourvidisbad101 What! commemorate Alan Moore for this, the film was a mere mediocrity compared to that of the graphic novel that he created. If you didn't know that than you must read it, because your comment on the symbolism and overall meaning is quite astute.

  • @yourvidisbad101 I agree, a masterpiece. I agree, my country is pretty well brain washed. I don't agree that it wasn't terrorism. To me, terrorism implies killing in the name of striking fear into the hearts of your enemies. It doesn't matter who those enemies may be, nor does it matter whether or not their intentions are on the behalf of the people. The fact is, he inacted violence on behalf of the people... The ultimate question is, are you willing to commit to terrorism for your cause?

  • @essillius I agree.

  • @essillius By that standard then, any war is terrorism. What's the point if your enemies are not afraid? In my opinion, this was a strike against the state terrorism carried out by the government itself.

  • @yourvidisbad101 i read your comment as the music was playing.it gave me chills.

  • @yourvidisbad101 i absolutely agree with you, but by accident pushed "dislike". how i could(

  • @yourvidisbad101 i loved it and i came back today to watch it again

  • @yourvidisbad101

the ideas in the film are cool but calling this film one of the best ever is an insult to far superior films.

  • @MrJahka Well, remember, I said ONE of the best. Definitely in what it is, a political message. What are you considering as a "good" movie then? It all really depends, are we talking entertainment wise, quality wise, message wise, acting wise? Those factors really are the difference between a movie like say, Catch-22 or Austin Powers, and Schindler's. All great movies, but on different standards.

  • @yourvidisbad101

well, it is very subjective so you have your opinion, but I like films like Citizen Cane, Running Bull, Rebel Without a Cause, Hitchcock's stuff.

  • @MrJahka I agree, you seem to like old fashioned/western movie genres, while I prefer more modern-style movies.

  • lol change title to:

    Message to scientologist.

  • i have only one thing to say... TERRORISTS WIN

  • no es un insulto al big ben ni a la gran bretaña pero este video es una obra de arte

  • @xanatose Agree man. U sound smart. I recently learned tolstoy was an anarchist which is awesome. I believe anarchism would work but not world wide or by every 1. I believe in non coercion as most anarchists. I wouldnt force ppl by the sword or shall I say gun. And I honestly dont think it would work world wide.

  • you know this scene is heavenly :)... the moral of this movie is.... '' All it takes for evil to flourish is good men to stand by and do nothing.''

  • @xanatose i guess it is just a word thing, leo tolstoy was a anarcho-pacifist not an anarchist

  • @xanatose by definition, you can look it up, anarchy has violent implications, thats what seperates the Tolstoys from the people who only are "Anarchists" because they dont like rules, im not saying that blindly following authority is a good thing by any means, but if everyone was an anarchist we would have a lord of the flies society

  • @xanatose

so you are saying that anarchist = political activist?

usually anarchist has a negative and a violent implication, usually associated with riots and disorder

its not about not having blind faith its about breaking the rules because you have problems with authority

  • Trust London Eye employees to put the New Year fireworks on the wrong building. D'OH!

  • To all who use the term Anarchist, including Punks and terrorists of the 70's, do any truly know what it means?

Its not what most people think, it really is a political point of view.

Just as many confuse socialism, marxism & communism,, or capitalism and monetarism, some are tools, some are systems of governance, most are abused including real and sham anarchy and especially religion, shame.

But what a great fun movie. the underground track is sort of there! great entertainment.

  • nice. very very nice. haPPy nov5th

  • nice. very very nice

  • Unfortunately the problem isn't with politics and governments, the problem is humans. Accept history, we just can't get it right and behave ourselves. For a social species we are shit at societies.

Awesome scene and film tho, gives goosebumbs everytime! ^^

  • does anyone know the name of the song?

  • @darknight22456 Tychovskie's 1812 Overture.

Awful spelling but you should know what I mean :)

  • Just looks like a hung parliament to me :p

  • Anyone know the song?

  • @cejaeric Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture

  • lol hes everyone and is no one.

  • Our fifth of November should be the First of November and so should our taxes be due on that date, the day before elections.

  • When he asks who V was, what did she say at 0:56? Just before "and he was my father, and my mother, my brother, my friend."

Sounds like "he was Edmund Dantes" or something.

  • @pokexplosion21 Edmond Dantes is a character in the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

  • #OMG wwwwowww super clownload it роор.su

  • Dang! I'm scared /b/ will take over the world now :p

  • @PsychopathicKnees u won't find many politicians with all those things.

  • @dontblackmailme

  • @CynicalVision obviously i watched the movie

    i was joking

  • @dontblackmailme

  • A better song could NOT be chosen for this moment.

  • song?

  • Suck on that Cameron you wanker!

  • Dame!" wrong goverment building, Bloody road maps I thought this was the USA, not UK. Spelling was never my fortay

  • @deskpot1 lol it rhymed.

  • just watched this and had the sudden urge to blow up the Dail hahahaha

  • nice fire works

  • What's hilarious is people love this film, along with fight club and the likes, but HAAATE anarchists who actually take action.

  • @bjarczyk V wasn't an anarchist, he was a revolutionary. The government was corrupt and he destroyed it. He vanquished the violators of volition!

  • @samusssbm85 Have you read the graphic novel? I haven't yet but it's way different. He's an outright anarchist in it. He's much more radical and Eve Hammond is a prostitute.

Either way people who watch these films hate actual living revolutionaries.

  • @bjarczyk Doubtfull. That one was written many years ago in its own context. He is an outright revolutionary here to. An anarchist. He says something a socialist and a liberal wouldn't - at least not before a few drinks - and that is that "Freedom is not only a word it is a perspective". Most would say a principle but he doesn't. Now you go about ponder on what that means.

  • @samusssbm85

    thats right

  • @bjarczyk haha anarchists are the most unintelligent people in any ideological field, v for vendentta is not anarchism at all, and fight club is just shitty paliniuk dogma which appeals to rebellious teens

  • @bulldogssmell Have you read the graphic novel?

  • @bjarczyk

i am about half way through it, it is what brought me to this video

  • @bjarczyk anarchists are a little different from V anarchists just love chaos but V saw that the country needed chaos to get back in order

  • @imev6lli from movies the perfect example would be Joker from Dark knight

  • @bjarczyk I consider myself an anarchist and agree 100% they watered down the shit out of this movie. still one of my faves this and fight club but neither mention anarchism in the movie or even on the dam box. V was an ANARCHIST in the book for crying out loud. At least they didnt butcher him as bad as they did deadpool. and I did like the ending of the movie better. But most of the middle part was better in the graphic novel

  • @Ratm4life Liberation and anarchism are two different things. Anarchism brings us back to step one. it makes us beasts. Anarchism is just a synonoym for self-destruction. Self-governing on the other hand, essentially socialism, is the true for. Socialism and communism are not the same thing. People have thus far have not really been able govern themselves based on a trust system without requiring an overruling leader. The main cause of this and the main flaw of humanity: greed.

  • @bjarczyk

I love the movie for its wordplay. Ever consider that there might be a reason other than yours for liking something?

  • @bjarczyk You have to admit, this film is fucking amazing. And so is fightclub

  • sweet dont forget lol

  • song name?
