Australia walks on egg shells when dealing internationally regarding its aboriginal population. Doesn't matter where I am from..where I am from the indigenous people's rights are fully respected & upheld. That is the total mess that comes from people in the past (not you) who stole,murdered & pillaged to gain land.When the British admirals went to Australia they were told to make agreements with the natives. Why. To avoid a mess like Australia has got itself into regarding its legitimacy.That never happened.That is hardly the fault of the aboriginals...they know it....your governments know it & the world knows it.A treaty legitimises/legalises your land title.

There are two legitimate titles to the land.Australia legislated a native title law that only recognised your title.It was a descrimitory law that violated the aboriginals human rights.

But what about the 23 million other Australians that would immediately be displaced, if what you want were to occur. You are asking the people who live here now to make up for the wrongs of the past, especially, the British government. We didn't ask for prisoners to be sent here! And Aboriginals are amply compensated for their situation. Again, you'd know this if you knew anything about our welfare system!

I also feel that the Australian Aboriginals could of got it far worse then what they have it. For example i feel they are lucky that the British colonized Australia rather then say the Germans, Chinese, Japanese. I believe that Aboriginals wouldn't even exist today if some other countries had colonized Australia.

(Although they were fairly brutal at times) I think though that there is no way for us to know what their civilization was like or what it should have been like because the first settlers intercepted their time line and sent them spinning out on a trajectory completely foreign to them.
