Dont kill me for saying this but the Tr6 is like a 65 mustang only british style! course handles better but the front end mainly what looks kinda similar to me. just my opinion dont kill me lol. Im working on a 71 MGB GT. And my dad has a 65 mustang. All original stuff... he was the original owner. no hot rod just all stang.. hehe
I bought a 74 TR6 new right after I got out of the service, I loved that car, I used to stop and go thru the gears in a tunnel under the railroad just to hear the throaty sound and loved the way it would seem to squat down when i hit another gear, those were the days my friends. Seems i only paid $3600 for it new. Wish i could find a good used one for that.

@BagheeraBirk My brother has a 73 TR6 fitted with triple webers. Still not as fast as my modded up TR8. :-)

I had a 71tr6 as well. Only problem was.. when I went out on a drive...I wasn't sure I was going to make it back!!But I loved that car.
