how can you tell it was a synton effect in the background at 2:44? to me it just sounds like the master running thru a ring mod.

@STINKOPOOP youre probably right. the synton fenix is used in the beginning of Fenix Funk 5, and i basically made a guess becaus it sounded similar to that. but it problably is a ring mod
