There's a challenge for you. Also, if you look throughout history, you'll discover that the "value" of gold remains more or less constant. An ounce of gold is worth an ounce of gold. Currencies not backed by it come and go. The fall of the dollar wouldn't mark the end of mankind, just the end of a chapter.

In the last 6 months it's up 12%. In the last 30 days it's up 7%, all in terms of the US Dollar.  You're failing to see the whole picture.
