  • This is the perfect song to make you feel serene. Listen to it, and before you know it, you'll need to poop. Very relaxing.

  • @bentoore oh that is one great recommendation!

  • like if you're here because of Skins

  • effy effy effy efffy

  • Amazing song on an amazing album by an amazing band. One of my favourite songs. If you like this kind of music, you should check out ''Fragile Bones(Feels Like Home)'' by Ali Murray, or anything by Ali Murray for that matter. His music is so dreamy and sad and beautiful.

  • This is what heaven sounds like.... oops wrong analogy

  • This song is fucking awesome.

  • They are beautiful live.

  • Saw this live yesterday :D sensational

  • seeing these guys at the weekend , fucking cant wait

  • it make's me loose breath

    so amazing,

  • Yeah kind of Garfunkel meets Bon Iver.

  • WOW!

  • I'd like to watch the REAL video...but the content is not available due to some red tape bs...I'll stick to this thank you dumb annotations

  • I saw them open up for mumford, I really liked his voice.

  • Heard this on Skins just a few minutes ago. Glad I did. I can't stop listening to it. So lovely.

  • It is so beautiful, I can barely breath.

  • CSI Miami

  • Ricky Gervais brought me here through his blog, and I must say I am very impressed :)

  • Those are some serious Garfunkel-esque vocals. Awesome stuff.

  • that Gervais is a sucker for anything Darwin ;) excellent song

  • Be on sea

  • Sent here by Ricky

  • I'd probably chuck myself in the salt pot.

  • Flumpf telly.

  • stop the quotes u fat kuuunts

  • OVEN......!

  • bill hicks brought me here

  • Clackering.

  • Dear everyone who quotes Karl Pilkington; are you aware of the Fast Show character Colin Hunt? Can you imagine what he would be doing in your position? Exactly as you are doing now, yes. Take a long look at yourself.

  • @Spankabuttux boswollox

  • @pearlbanger Haha! That I don't mind, it's inventive. Touche(with a little 45 degree line above the 'e', I can't be bothered to find out how to do it). Though I think you'll find it's 'boswellox'.

  • @Spankabuttux

    é

    :)

  • @Spankabuttux Whether it's a potato or a nut; it's a foodage.

  • @7ali7 I'm so glad you are here to protect the exact science that is Rockbusters; carry on, and good luck, without you we are nothing...

  • inb4 10,000 "HUURRR LIKE IF RICKY SENT YOU HERE".

    No one cares.

  • @TheHauntedAngel you never see an old man eating a twix

  • I was in Texas, and fell on my knee into a puddle ..... wet-knee Houston

  • I had a kid moaning at me this morning because his dad was a mong.

  • Remember when there were those bad winds in the '70s?

  • Ricky Gervais brought me here, great band. I bet he'd like fleet foxes

  • square tins

  • Delhi Meat Tree.

  • @MizzOMA it was Deli meat tree not Delhi. As in a delicatessen, rather than Delhi, India. The clue was something about a bistro (deli) growing their own steak. Absolute bollocks either way but I just felt the need to correct you.

  • @7ali7 Hahaha thanks, I hadn't realised I'd put an h in, but thanks for pointing it out. I feel so ashamed. Dire Steaks.

  • @MizzOMA Sorry, I hate wankers who have to correct others but this is no small matter. This is Rockbusters.

Of all the things for a frog to be getting cocky with... them two should never even meet.

  • @7ali7 You are the Rockbusters Tsar, which is a very important role, use your powers wisely.

    Nick Her Saw.

  • @MizzOMA Can someone explain this to me? I know who Karl Pilkington is but what does it have to do with this video?

  • @Acexwanderer This is Indie music and Karl,Rick Gervais and Stephen merchant all used to work at Xfm which is an Indie radio station

  • Was Rob-her Plant the one in Leh-Zeppelin?

  • The bit I ant told you about.... it was actually run by a couple of chimps

  • A dog has human eyes

  • ugh!!!!

  • "If you put something somewhere, something will sit on it."

  • This song does not remind me of an old man sitting on a porch with his granddaughter watching the sun set.

It just reminds me that I' m listening to a great song, that is all.

Maybe it' s just my lack of imagination.

  • I saw them last night, as they opened for Iron & Wine. I must say, they were incredible. I don't know how I hadn't heard of them before. The versatility of all the members was wonderfully refreshing and their talent was absolutely breathtaking.

  • I learned the lyrics because if I can sing songs like this, I just feel free. I haven't got a great voice, but it's all about that feeling:) I love this song

  • This.........yes.

  • This song is like crack, I can't stop listening to it!

  • Some songs just reach in and rip out your heart. This is one of them.

  • One of the band members went to my old school. They came and preformed a couple years ago. It was a small venue with only maybe 20 students sitting on giant beanbag chairs. It had been raining that day so the room felt very humid and warm. One of my happiest memories is lying in front of the stage, my then-crush coming through the door and snuggling up against my arm as the band played this song.

    :)

  • The first time i ever listened to this song i just closed my eyes and let it sink in it is an amazing song the Low anthem is amazing!!

  • This album is the best. I love music and lyrics. Champion Angel is one I find especially delightful but Oh My God, Charlie Darwin is perfect. I want it played at my funeral, if I have ever have one to send me back to the universe!

  • Skins.

  • @believemenatalie Is total Bollocks.

  • @FionaBoosh Whatever you say.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love the lyrics. But he could be singing about poop and this would still be an incredibly beautiful song.

  • Made me cry.

  • Gonna see them in Paris, can't wait, they are so good !

  • Love this band. Rather bleak view of evolution, though. Think if it slightly differently, and it's the reason we're alive. Go out and have a drink, or a cupcake.

  • oh, when I hear the melodica or something it makes me almost cry :-)

  • i love this song!!!! is beautifull

  • congrats... this is pure...

  • Didn't know Simon and Garfunkel were still writing music.

  • and this song is lame. ole "Charlie" probably wouldn't approve.

  • this is effing beautiful.

  • i heard this on a bavarian radio station at 4in the morning before i got to work ... without that i most certainly wouldnt know that awesome tune. one of the rare moments when you think "everything happens for a reason"

  • i hope this is playing when i die, used to want FREEBIRD, so quite a compliment

  • beautiful

  • joebeeton is a paedophile

  • @Zipplepoo haha. no. maybe the grandpa singing in this song. not me

  • Very beautiful song.

  • one of the greatest songs this decade

  • @ShareYourUnderwear

Same here!!! I was totally spellbound by theese voices who made such perfect harmony! I didn't belive music could still sound like this.

  • @csiphan23 yeah, it was right in the beginning, or first 2 minutes.

  • goosebumps all around

    what a major talent

  • wunderbar....!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bravo!!!

  • Does anybody know who the 4th member of TLA was on Letterman?

  • it's beautiful ♥

  • This is not my usual style of music but this is very good. Kind of Celtic, Bluegrass thing. Very Nice.

  • I found myself watching all their videos and ordering the CD at 1:30AM after Letterman. I anticipate when they post that performance soon. Why is it they don't get any airplay? I they make a stop in Boise on their tour.

  • Gorgeous. Much success to this band ... they are unique and making some beautiful music. I'm hooked. Saw them on Letterman too ... rushing to hear / buy everything they have recorded.

  • This is the song I just saw performed on Letterman tonight (1.15.10)...Gives me goosebumps...Really strikes an emotional chord...BEAUTIFUL!

  • I'm a creationist.

    NOT!!

Sounds as though Charlie Darwin was a confused man.

  • Beautiful........

  • yes...just like you

    thanks red.

  • Thanks for the share RW sweet tune

  • haunting? it reminds me of a compassionate old man beckoning his granddaughter onto his farmhouse porch to watch the setting sun across a fields of golden wheat aha not haunting.,

  • it's an interpretive thing. I also think it's a haunting song. That's the beauty of music, I suppose.

  • @toodrunktodream your correct, one of the most haunting songs ive ever heard. his voice has great sadness and this song almost always makes me cry its so haunting and lonely feeling.

  • @joebeeton ????? listening to LA's CD may not be haunting, but it's surely not as verbose and cluttered as the picture you have tried to paint for us. LESS IS MORE.

  • @JustJake57 OK OK OK fine. you got me. maybe I wrote too many OKs. but the point is, OK. sorry.

  • @joebeeton

SOUTH PARK made fun of RICKY GERVAIS in new episode FUNNYBOT- made fun OF HOW HE ANALYSES THING SO MUCH LIKE A ROBOT

  • @ItsameAlex

    I meant abalyses comedy.

  • Simply beautiful. x

  • I was drawn in by the name and now the music it's haunting in a sweet way.

  • not felt like i'm feeling now since i first heard simon and garfunkle :-)

  • my english teacher went and saw them last nite and she told me i should check em out lol i like em! :)

  • Your english teacher is smart!

  • yea shes pretty cool. she likes the type of music i like, same type of poetry and shes pretty hot i think i love her haha

  • Yeah my English teacher was great too, he really changed/helped me in so many ways, and he had impeccable taste. Before my A level exam he produced from his pocket the Fleet Foxes debut which I had recommened to him the previous day, and then sold me his radiohead ticket. Legend.

  • Haunting, beautiful

  • heard this on numb3rs... my new fav song

  • saw them last night in tucson.... what a great show. go see them live if they play in a town near you.

  • Anyone know any bands like this? I cant get enough of them! The only other bands I have that are similar are Midlake and Fleet Foxes.

    5 Stars!

  • You should check out johnny flynn and the sussex wit - that's cracking stuff too.

  • they're playing whelans in Feb '09

  • Love this song.

Im in a gaelic choir, and our teacher has translated the words into Gaidhlig and it's soooo fun to sing it!!

    So beautiful :)

  • This is too beautiful for words.

  • seen em supporting ray lamontagne in olympia, just magical to watch and hear and be part ot it really. major potential

  • Such an unbelievably beautiful song. Kickin myself now not seein them at the Picnic

  • If it works for you, it works for me. THIS is my 950th 80-or-more-hour week in a row, so the line made me want to blow my brains out. Figure it would be a waste to do that so close to a 1000 though:)

  • its prob my favourite line in the song lol, what do you do working those hours?? lol

  • Running a company I made the mistake of starting in a country where business owner = "prey".

  • how are you living? do you love your job a TON? thats twice the hours that most human beings work. i hope that you don't blow your brains out and retire very soon so that you have all the time in the world to wait in lines to see things that you will enjoy. I am sure that listening to such soothing and spiritual music must help. good luck to you in your pursuit of 1000, 80 hr or more weeks. i know thats something i never want to accomplish. enjoy life

  • Well, I broke my string... I was in a motorcycle accident 5 weeks ago and broke my back. The string is dead:)

I do appreciate your concern for me... thanks.

  • I really enjoy this song. I bought the CD while their NPR interview was happening. I never do that, so way to go. Small thing... "hard-earned time"... makes no sense. "Precious time"... "Treasured time"... "Cherished time".. etc... makes sense and fits the piece.

  • Im guessing hard earned time for pay is a different way of looking at a dead end job as in theyve earned there time on earth only to be wasting it away in a job they hate.

  • getting and spending we waste our days...

  • Absolutely Amazing! Thanks for Share Maddie!

  • these and fleet foxes are playing in two days at electric picnic...and im going to be there : D

  • Makes me Cry! I heard them just this morning and I love it already. Makes me feel i should be in a big house curled up by the fire in Connemara!
