I thought the place he was describing at the beginning of this video was the USA.Before the US starts waving fingers and telling everyone else how bad their welfare and care systems are they should get their act together. The US has the worst healthcare system in the world, where if you suffer from a condition you can't get insurance and if you can't pay you get thrown in the street. The mentally ill in the US are locked up in prison after being kicked out the hospitals when states closed them.
InvaderZimFan....IT'S PPL LIKE YOU THAT ARE DOING THIS TO THEM...........American's care about people no matter where they come from. And it usually takes America to fix the shit.
It seems that there aren't enough staff to care for these poor people. It also seems that the staff aren't trained to take proper care of these people. With that being said it is no wonder that so many people are suffering. They don't get any love and they must be so board, they're stuck in cribs and they don't even have any toys or books. The worst part is that I don't think the staff can do anything about these problems. We need to pray that thet will get the help they deserve.
this is none of Americas business so fuck off, fix your own country before you try to fuck with someone elses. America, this is why the world hates you.
OH MY GOD! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MANKIND? ENOUGH OF WARS, ENOUGH OF DEATH, ENOUGH OF FAMILIES BEING TORN APART, ENOUGH OF CARELESS. I FEEL SO SHAME TO BE PART OF A SPECIES THAT HAVE POTENTIAL TO MAKE CHANGES, TO WRITE THEIR NAME ON THE HISTORY AND STILL ACT ANd THINK LIKE A BUNCH OF OGRES.
My heart shattered watching this. I want to take those children and give them the love and care they deserve. It is beyond me to conjure up appalling enough words to condemn these abhorrent conditions and scenes. These are HUMAN BEINGS!!! I can see that there are abilities in these individuals that are not being developed because no takes the time to look in their eyes and see the light and potential there. They may not have abilities that are considered "norm," but they can learn some things.
This poor children at least weren't hungry, they have skinny legs and arms because of cerebral palsy. Parents in most cases didnt have enough money to give even basic care for their children with special needs. How would some of you trying to be single mom to kid with disability with maximum 200 euros as help from Government and with EU prices. Or that Serbia has enough money for more therapists, rooms... for patients to have happy life with reeeeally low yearly budget.
Very sad, yes, but. It has nothing to do with some Nazzi customs of taking care of ppl with special needs. And I really wish you never to understand why this were happening. Although there was also a lot of neglect by Government, who were praised by West, btw. These sad situations in institutions like this were not different in that time than in other ex YU countries, except Slovenia. Like always Serbia had to take all the blame, by western media.
They need to learn to be proud of tall their children. The roots of disablism are the intolerance of the different. Society needs to be intolerant of the intolerant instead, instead of heeding these evil moaners and whingers
Serbia isn't the only country where this is happening. It's happening all over Europe and Asia. We have adopted 4 disabled children so that they would have a life and would never see one of these institutions, where they were each headed, in Russia and Ukraine.
thos sick people are serbians, but i dont think that they deserve this! when i sow this video, it berought teras in my eyes to! thos people ned care and love, but insted they are treated in tourtur by its own people...by serbians monsters....no hart and soul, no shame.....
This footage brought tears to my eyes. It is so sad that one human would treat another like this. Being an American citizen, I realize that this isn't just a Eastern European behavior. This kind of treatment of those that are different than the norm is more prevalent than anyone would like to realize. We all need to look at individuals for their abilities, not disabilities. Warehousing people is not the answer!!! We all need Peace and Love!!!
This is so very sad, incredibly so. I just want to reach through the screen and pick each disabled person up, give them a hug and take them away from that horrible place. What is the answer to this horrid, shameful issue?
@iman22haya This was like back in 2000... We have changed... Oh and the american news is lying... watch?v=ZX2Z2C1J6Ao&feature=related watch that... Even though it's in serbian your gonna see how people are REALLY treated(with respect and care) :)
who in there right funking cazy ass person would put an already disable person through that crazy ass toutur i don't think the patiants r the only crazy ones..
I'm curious as to what it is about Eastern European culture and the way they view those with disabilities. Why is it that Western Europeans wouldn't allow this, but their close neighbors do? Is it something about the Slavic cultures or what? I'm asking this honestly because I can't figure it out.
Sadly any money you send will be taken by the government and used to buy more weapons and attack more places... may be Croatia again or Bosnia... those poor disabled kids would not see a dime of your donation... These are not people that are in control. These are animals without any knowledge or education. I am sad to see this happen to ever person that is a prisoner in the institution... what's even worse is that Serbia could care less what anyone thinks of them or their actions...
WOW! What a shame I wish I could help! I am in the medical field and study medicine to become a doc. But by far I have not seen nothing like this in any medical books.
It's not money and resources that's the problem, it's the attitude from Government ministers through civil servants, the medical profession and society. Such sick eugenic attitudes permeated the UK not so long ago. Rout the rot and give the people subject to this torment a life not a living hell! And they want to join the EU?!!
