Always dug this song ... It's sort of a political song, but I've never been entirely clear on what Kip's saying, in the song though. No question Kip shouldn't have tried to look all "grunge"y ... his hair and everything. Didn't help them any! Great vocals, on this, which Kip and crew still sound great on today

Winger certainly got a bad rap in the 80's as a serious metal contender given Kip's camera posing and pretty boy image. The fact its, Pull is one of the best rock recordings from that decade. Every single song on the CD is awesome, every one! Junkyard Dog is my favorite on the CD. Given the changing music climate with Grunge coming on the scene, this album was regrettably overlooked. If you don't have it, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Pull was an amazing album. Definitely one of my top 10 all time. Sadly after the over produced "In the Heart of the Young" album and their being black listed by MTV this album didn't get the attention it deserved. Pretty much every song on it is bad ass.

If you like it, try Def Leppard's "Slang", or Warrant's "Dog Eat Dog"

Pull is one my all-time favorite albums. Such a cohesively dark and poetic tone from start to finish. People always talk about Winger's ripping guitars, but the 12-string acoustic stuff on Pull is just the best. It's amazing how much these guys evolved from their first album. Pull is truly a lost classic.

@cmde123 I like your choice of word when you say evolved. I totally agree. Because people (unenlightened people) would say they matured. They were mature from day 1. They were never a bunch of little boys running around doing as many girls as they could. They always had an air of dignity about them that other bands like Metallica both lacked and envied.

@mrwilliamwonder Indeed, I also think it has to do with the fact that they weren't really limited by the time they got to the PULL album. Though, it really sucks to know that Bevis & Butthead killed them, according to Kip. I have to agree. I'm glad they're still around making music!!
