Holy crap! I never got that crazy ending before! Usually it was either Zeus standing there accepting his defeat while his castle crumbled or he stands up looking fired up for a future rematch when I finished it.
Ahhh, good times as they were. I played the hell out of this game on a video renting store in my days as a kid. I usually played as Dragon or Hanzo.
It is pretty amazing that many fighting games of this era in aracde gaming were overshadowed by Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. ADK as well as SNK put out some amazing 2D fighters.
I know where Zeus' human form was from. He resembles the leader of SPIDER from the Neo Geo video game "Ninja Commando", which, BTW, was made by Alpha Denshi, the same company that made the World Heroes series.
