While Joxer was intended to be a sort of comic relief for the audience, this musical bit seems to cross a boundary between barely acceptable and outright ridiculous and unnecessary.

Salmoneus was also a comical character, but even he didn't need to have a musical episode to get the message across that he's supposed to be funny.

This isn't a musical episode it's a running gag of joxers song that grows as the series continues. If you've ever watched the series it gets far more ridiculous than this. Thats why the show was awesome it had no limits.

The "Warrior... Priestess... Tramp" and it contains one more Xena-lookalike, the priestess, seen in this video :) The Joxer is mighty fun in that episode, as always. A wooden brain but a heart of gold.
