  • I excited seeing the lasalle 2 roadster running again. I'm inpressed with the electric motor powering the car. I can't see it when it's finished. Thank you Joe Bortz & Dave Holes for saving a piece of Motorama history!

  • Interesting history on the LaS II. I always just figured it was a Bill Mitchell project.

As if he had to ask you twice if you wanted a ride!

This is a really exciting project, thanks so much for taking all of us on the ride as well

  • Totally awesome, Chuck! I really appreciate the history that is being shared in the process of this restoration.

You might be interested in seeing some of the cars I drove over the years at my YouTube site, too. Nothing to compare to what you usually are riding in, but nostalgic, non-the-less.

  • Interesting history.. Is there a written history of the car? Old Pictures, where it was for 40 years etc..

  • @zzzdogutube I have a book titled ,"Cars That Never Were", by the editors of Consumer Guide, with pictures and some history.

  • wow Chuck.. it must have been an honor to be involved with such a mark in history. I envy your ride in the LaSalle! haha.. good for you!

  • Wow! I could really hear the excitement in your voice in this one. Happy Birthday Joe! Someone should put a big red bow on the LaSalle for you!
