OMFG! I'm only half way through your video and I'm balling my eyes out, I wish I had the money right now to get all the surgery done to make me ME! I don't care how fricken old I am now, please, someone send me the money so I can have my true life. :0(
Wow! With each word you say, I cry so hard, cause it was what I said when I was that age. Coming out 7 days ago at age 48, just makes me so mad that i waited so long. Is it to late for me now, I really don't know, but watching all these videos on you tube for the past week [every day and night] is making things a bit more clear in my head and I just hope I can handle what's to come in my near future. Yesterday was the first changes to come, got my boy hair cut back and bought some boy clothes.
@SIMON309930 You good person are what most people would call a moron. But that's just as bad as judging Danny isn't it? So maybe you can just go your way and if we all can't get along, at least stay out of each others way. It's not like you can understand, really.
You can feel Danny's extreme awkwardness when his mother's asks him questions about how he felt during his upbringing and if he feels any ongoing resentment. It's obviously something he's chosen to block out of his mind and forget about. As he stated at the beginning:
"Katie died a long time ago. That's it. Full stop".
The struggle that transgender people go through when they feel trapped in the wrong body must be nothing short of horrible. My thoughts are best wishes go out to them.....
I think this is a pretty brilliant documentary, and I have so much respect for Danny putting himself out there in such a vulnerable way! I was a little saddened at his comments about bottom surgery though, because it felt like he thought those of us who choose not to have bottom surgery for whatever reason were still "freaks" and I totally disagree with that. Thanks for sharing this, Ryan!

@setsuno ur not born with breasts smart ass.
And transitioning can be a long process everyone copes with it in there own time.
some people do it sooner rather then later but for some, thats not possible. And everyone has there own reason for waiting or having to wait.

"If you don't like it, piss off" - what a great line. I need to have that attitude so I can get the guts to tell my family.
