My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 07 just a few months before he turned 31. He was given 6 months to live. Now it is 2012 and he is still fighting. We have two young daughters. When times are the toughest for my family, I think of this song. I will always be the one who will love and fight for them no matter how hard the days may be. I will not bend...perfect for my determination.

I just Lost my grandfather yesterday, Im going to miss him so much, and it was a whole shock to our family. But he died peacefully in his sleep, so he isnt suffering anymore. A 13 year old shouldnt have to go through this loss... I'll miss him alot.

Maybe this sounds rude, but, for those who lost that special one: they're gone because they found why they were allowed to live: bring joy to his/her husband/wife. They are happy in heaven and they taking care of you and your son's.
My husband also died of a brain tumor on Sept 14th....but it was1999. He had a glioblastoma multiforme grade iv. He died 4 weeks after he was diagnosed & was 43 years old. We have 4 kids. I promise you that you will be ok. It is the hardest journey you will ever take. It doesn't get "better" but it does get "different". There is online support. Go to yahoo groups & look for btbereavementfamily. It's for those who lost someone to the brain tumor beast.
