Airsoft shotguns do not make sense to me becuase they should only be used for close range thus, they are required to have low velocity. But real shotguns pack a lot of punch but airsoft shotguns do not. They are also not pragmatic in skirmishes.

@giley124 These are hard as hell to find and expensive (for a shotgun). Get the MP5K. If you want a simalar shotgun get the UTG m3. Only about $60-$70 compared to the Marui $200 if you can find it.

In another perspective, he's reviewing the gun. Income isn't unlimited, and we need to choose our products wisely. There has to be some healthy seriousness or we would be running around naked shooting Star Wars replicas. But these are not "toys" - it's a toy in the same way a running shoe is a toy. Having fun doesn't mean it's child's play.

@cstalley In Japan, people can't own guns, period. These serve as replicas for either display or competitive shooting (not the case of this particular model, normally compatitive shooting is made with race guns) or just to shoot your friends in the ass. Either way, the similarity with their real steel counterpart is much more satisfactory.

If you don't take them seriously enough, you end up with 3 irises on 2 eyes. Which isn't fun.

This is a GREAT shotgun, Not hard at all hard to pump or use. I just love it, haven't used it much tough. Dusent have the range of a AEG so not that good for forest Plays. But fun to shoot. and i recomend it. Tough DO NOT ONE HAND RELOAD IT. That kills the internals.

@kidri0t you can't get a real spas 12 as there is no civilian model. They stopped making them by 2000. And even when it was in production it was considered too military like to be issued for civilian use. So the airsoft version is all you can get unfortunately
