It will be in lithium ion soon but at the moment there is a newer Duration model with 2.6Ah handles. The 1.7ah handles are about to be discontinued. This is a top piece of machinery
I've been communicating with the VP of Sales for C Enterprise and they will have Lithium Ion batteries/handles available next year. This is what I wanted also, and he said even if one purchased this Kit now with the regular batteries, the new Lithium Ion batteries would fit all tools, so one could upgrade easily. Great little workhorse for a woman who likes to do things herself!
does look impresive...and quite usefull...but also for diy ONLY...i don't think this would do any good to someone that wants to do serious work...simply because 99% of the times you are dealing with larger objects that this can fit and with more tools at once...but still is impresive

The Power8 Duration comes with 2x 2.6ah Nicad Batteries
