what is "tightens"...i´m portuguese but I never understand what is that:S.......and how can I have a co-driver like this in RBR?????........pls!!....thaks.
In English, we say "tight" or "sharp" for a corner that turns very much in a short space (e.g. a 180-degree U turn). Thus, "tightens" or "sharpens" means the corner changes direction more rapidly the farther you go into it.
The opposite is "opens". It is weird that the true opposites of the words are not used for turns! You can't say "closes" for a turn that tightens, and you can't say "loosens" for a turn that opens. Isn't English fun... oy!
Haha that same tree in Greenhills (the 2nd stage) always gets me too... I find that it's actually a lot harder to stay on the road in the game than in real life...
haven't played richard burns rally, but i did play collin mcrae 2, 2005 and Dirt... if they would simply put the 2005 co driver into dirt it would be perfect... now 2005 has bad handling and dirt has a bad co driver, but basicaly i drive with no arrows as well...
wow pretty sweet. So in your experiance is it a fairly realistic simulator? To me most raceing games are impossible to steer until you get used to them.
It's unbelievably realistic. In the "Explore More Videos" on the right, you should see "RBR Slomo Test"; that one really shows off the physics model. Of course, to drive these properly, one needs a good wheel'n'pedals set.
I dont have any icons or sound! cheater..

you should loosen the swaybars on the france track so that you can take those evil uphill hairpins easier

I'll have to remember that next time I fire up RBR. I've never done anything with the setup because I wouldn't know where to begin! Thanks!

every time the co driver says "hairpin" the driver speeds up and goes the opposite way
klined 4 years ago
The co-driver calls are about a corner or two ahead of where the driver is. So, as you drive, you have to take each call as meaning "after this bit".
Keeper1st 4 years ago
yeah it just depends on the driver, cause every driver likes the pacenotes to be read from a different distance

if he just slowed down a bit he wouldnt hit anything

That was some nice driving, except sometimes when u felt off the road.
I'd be real happy to get your sound data(codrivers and engine) it feels even more real with those. And dont forget to post my video response ;)

quite decent driving! :) I could use your audio.dat .. (a)
