ugh,see,you problably have never driven a manual car before,basically,heres whats going on:their definition of a "perfect shift" is how to keep from burning your clutch and breaking your engine.however,to get the most performance out of the vehicle,you would want to go a little over,so that each gear reaches its maximum velocity/time requirement.now,in real life,shift a GT3 like that and you'll blow the engine in well...9 seconds,but in a game,i'm guessing it will make you win,and none the wiser

My results:
5.5 @ 315km/h -> perfect shift
5.9 @ 298km/h -> good shift
7.3 @ 297 km/h -> early shift
as it says.. perfect is perfect xD

Well, I use clutch and shift later than the perfect zone. That will shorten the time on some cars.
