Saw them live in Hallendale Beach,Fl. The Button South........early to mid 90's....one of the best shows I ever attended.......just so down to earth, straight forward Rock and Roll.....amazing energy.....!
i think i now know where that irish band "The answer" gets there riffs and style from, originally i thot the black crowes ..... but i thin they sre cribbinh more from this mob
Free, Kansas my fav bands but these guys were different. First heard Peace pipe and jumped up for the Free feel. Then forgot the band and now reunited with them on tube. How on earth did they not got the appreciation they deserved? The Southern Rock scene has been so lame. Raging Slab were the last to mention and they came from up north
A clone of Free, but a damn good one!. Like Free this music will stand the test of time. I had this on cassette in the early nineties and just wore it out. Now its on my ipod and still sounds fresh and hard core. I hope to see this band someday, hope they give me the chance!
Dare I say the lead singer has some Steve Perry talent with a bit more bite? He's incredibly talented, or at least was. That was a really really good band that should have made it really big.
thanks for posting this.. they really were a great band. I remember when they came out - hot stuff. Damn shame southern rock never caught on with the masses... but in a world where Michael Jackson is the biggest seller of all time, you cant expect the masses to know good from shit.
I totally agree that is was a great band. I was amazed when they did not get the airplay they deserved. Your focus on Michael Jackson being the reason is false however. It was the whole grunge movement that pushed this band to the back burner. Stupid on the record companies part. Even Aerosmith was pushed to the back in favor of Pearl Jam,Alice In Chains,Stone Temple Pilots etc. back in those days. The record companies sale gimmicks now in favor of real music with real musicians and that sucks.
Great song from a great album. Too bad this line up didn't put more albums out. Thanks for posting!

What do you get when you take the awsesome sound of Audley Freed's guitar add in a little Humble Pie, and a little Free influence.----Cry of Love.
