This Concerto was made for two violins is it possible just for two people to play it alone without the orchestra cause I have heard it with a piano acting as the orchestra
i like the ocho effect, it makes the song seem more mysterious like someone coughing in the boggs! An excellent version if you ask me - shame about the noisy arseholes in the audience. Ruskies I guess. Cccp - no heating in winter thats why they snort and cough all the time. thanks, ill look into it. =] beautiful song. And who is the other violinist? He appears to be Albert Markov. No its Vladimur Pushkin from the flying circus...
i love this song... i listen to it on my ipod everyday on the way to school. i hope i can play it one day. i just learned 3rd position and my teacher said shes looking for a good book with pieces in it. =].
This piece is pretty advanced for someone just learning the positions, but I bet you could still do it :). For learning the positions a bit better, you could do some exercises or get some books like "Learning the Positions" (which teaches you exercises :P).
I'm playing the 1 tht started first...which I dunno is the first or second violin...It's super hard...I can cope up in front...but in d middle...I'm dead...lol
i tot itz supposed to be a wee lil bit faster??too slow for my taste..haha..y was it so quiet at the end..i was applauding here..y the audience seemed so dead?hehe..
That reminds me of one of my concerts at my school. We were playing a piece with movements and the conductor/teacher said not to applaud in between movements. The first movement was pretty short, and yet the audience still forgot not to clap (either that or just didn't want to listen to her). When they started clapping, she almost started laughing, but restrained herself.
The second and first part are equal. I am practicing and in the process of learning both. They both do the same things at each point, the song is the 2 violins calling back to each other. the first part goes way higher but the 2cnd part isn't easy to keep in rhythm. All in all they are equal.
i htink the secionf part is harder than first part....but you just have to play it slow over and over ahgin...to play notes in tune...and to have a balanced bowing...its hard.BUT IT ALL PLAYS OFF IN THE END!!!!!!

Wow. the big master Zakhar Bron. he would never agree to teach a student who plays badly and out-of-tune, yet he does it shamelessly! ! !

I totally agree! This intonation even for a 12 years old child sucks! omg my ears...

My ensemble at school might play this
but the problem for us is the cellos because the cello part is harder than it seems XD
