Wait a minute. WTF is with the castle? I don't recall seeing one in the movie, they're not even found in a normal jungle for that matter. This show made no sense.

In a normal jungle, frogs can't shoot acid at you and giant flowers can't eat you either. Just stop thinking about it too much and enjoy the show dude.

Not that I hated the series, but it sticks out like a sore thumb when you compare this to the movie

Actually, it's established that only some of the creatures in the jungle are Ibsen's work, and he did a lot of crazy shit once he had a real-world laptop to plug into his system, it's possible he gave that one plant Alan cut down an "upgrade"

@TerminalCriticism Actually, yeah, there are carniferous flowers in the jungle, and yeah, some of them can be quite large. We talked about them in Biology class Sophomore year. They live mostly off of insects, but some of the larger ones can eat small animals as well, though none of them are capable of eating a human. Type in carniferous flowers in google.
