  • Wow. You have a true talent for storytelling my friend.

  • @SkillzUnknown Thanks for the kind words.

  • This needs to go viral.

  • Man, am I glad I subscribed, and went through all your videos, one by one, and got to this one! Damn good one, thank you - I appreciate it, I really do :)

  • Wow! That was incredible!

  • Fan-damn-tastic! I love your channel!

  • Man I value being subscribed to you!

  • VERY strong message there. Awesome story.

  • You need to hang a sea faring painting on your mantle and play the old Family Classics music in the background. The memories of Frazier Thomas are running through my head.

  • Beautifully done.

  • @Verilioness Thanks, Veri.

  • thank you!

  • ZT I think that you've found your nitch!

Gun reviews are great but THIS... even your last video was phenomenal.

  • @TacticalCitySlicker Thanks. This kind of thing, as well as the short movie by my nephew + even more .... I am expanding the scope of the ZombieTactics channel. Hopefully there will be enough to have something for everyone and it is interesting and unique. I don't want to be just another guns-n-gear channel, as there are already many excellent choices along those lines.

  • I like this fireside story format and this story fits the time of year.

  • Brilliant analogy. I wonder how many people (based on the comments) really know what you were saying.

  • That was an excellent story. It certainly makes one think.

  • At 12:20 was your dog asking for attention or somthing? great story by the way.

  • @PudgeyLove One dog ... multiple cats, it's always sumpin!

  • @jsh1284 I enjoy the TNP for some things too. I've seen the vid and know where he got it from. Yes, he picked it up...but he's where most of us 1st heard it and he's still running with it. W/out sliding back into the great TNP debate, I made that comment because I don't always agree with his views or methods. I knew exactly what I was saying, but thanks anyway lol. /thread

  • I like the story/dream. It is hard these days to not be emotional and passionate about things that we care about. I see so many ass clowns out there talking about the "GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY" junk out there or OHHHHH They are out to get us. Most of these YouTubers don't even see the "real" stuff that is happening around them because they are so clouded by there miserable and unhappy existence. Thanks for the video. Please always keep it real.

  • You need to quit your job asap and become a full time, Boy Scout Master Troop leader, do it now. The kids need to hear your amazing story telling ability.

  • I'm not good with words. all I have to say is great video

  • @OLDBD1 Nothing wrong with those words, lol.

  • the question is...Where will our dogs be when those wolves enter our land?

  • Amazing story!!! Reminds me of one of my most favorite literary quotes:

"Let me not then die ingloriously and without a struggle, But let me first do some great thing that shall be told among men hereafter."

~ Hector of Troy, Iliad XVII ~

  • Well said, well said.

  • Interesting story, especially considering the state of american society and how we got here. Thanks for posting. Keep up the good work and keep sharing the knowledge!!!

  • You sir, are an amazing storyteller.. or at least, that dream was visible enough that you can recite its interesting story.. Kinda makes me think of an american Animal Farm(cuz the actual book animal farm is a reference to the soviet union..)

  • EPIC

  • Great story very riveting.

  • Very well told !!!

  • I felt compelled to send an email to Nutnfancy, and describe to him my experience, how his video had moved me in such a great way. In his reply, I knew he understood me. He knew exactly how I felt about everything. I was so glad to know I wasn't alone, that there are other people who care so strongly about these things.

I don't expect everyone to understand why I cry at the things I do. None of my friends or family members do. But there is a small population of people who always will.

  • Deep within me I had believed in the words he was saying, all along. Now, it was coming to the surface and I was fully realizing what it meant. I realized where I stand in life. Who I am, and the person I want to be. It had been there my entire life, I just hadn't realized it before. By the end of the video, I knew my life had changed forever. Everything made sense now, and I was no longer confused.

  • love it man

  • So I began to watch the video, not realizing at the time how it would change my life. I'm not eve joking or exaggerating here, that video stirred in me something I hadn't paid much attention to in my entire life. For the entire 37 minute duration of the video, I wept uncontrollably. I begin to cry even when I just think about it. The thing was, I completely understood what Nutnfancy was saying. But it was more than understanding. I FELT it.

  • There aren't many things in this world that can make me cry. I can feel sadness when watching a sad movie, but I have never cried during one. But there is one thing that I have found that will reliably bring me to tears. I can't really explain it in words, but the heart of it lies at the concept of this video. 11 months ago I found a video in my subscriptions box from Nutnfancy entitled "The Sheepdog Concept." I had heard him use the term "sheepdog" before, but didn't exactly know what he meant.

  • Well done. Watching Mulan with my daughter gets me misty eyed...

  • That was the best bed time story ever. No joke. Was this actually a dream of yours or what?

  • @safewaysecurity Yes, I have actually had this dream or a variation of it several times over the past few weeks. In one variation the farmer actually puts down the falsely accused sheepdog who jumped over the fence.

  • Thank you for sharing my friend.

  • Great story and a wise parable.

  • Just my rookie interpretetation. not to be taken as professional at all:

Perhaps very soon you, or maybe all of uys will be forced to protect our own "sheep" as the dogs, whoes blood it is in, to gaurd them. We will be blamed for a many great things, and we may have to do things that seem like evil but in the end they will see that we are actually trying to protect them.

Not sure how this ties into current/future events, but I think we all need to keep a look out.

  • hmmm.. "Sheep have a short memory.." that says it all.

  • ZT, very moving. Well done.

  • Whoah! Great story.

  • Dreams can be interesting, and I put much value on a coherent dream (of which there are few). No, not to predict the future, but to predict yourself and they way you might respond to things.

Nonetheless, this dream of yours isn't too far off... The near future may hold something exactly like that, and though not certain, the concern is great enough to haunt your sleep.

  • Glued. simply Glued. Great job.

  • Usually the 3rd generation is lucky to be as aware and successful as the first generation in a family. I've had friends whose grand parents are millionaires, parents are millionaires, and they are complete bums with no skills, no work ethic, no jobs, and eventually got disowned.

  • I've been having a very similar dream. Except in mine, when the wolves come, the sheep all turn into blueberry muffins and start singing "Street Fighting Man" by the Rolling Stones. Then I'm making out with Scarlett Johansson and I'm dimly aware that in the background, the farmer is running around in an orange Snuggie, waving a shotgun about and yelling something about how a muffin can be very filling. Your version is a little weird.

  • I posted a comment here earlier.... any chance it got deleted?

  • @adventurek9 I haven't deleted and comments for this video.

  • Very pertinent to our day! Thanks for the story!

  • Great story ZT. You know the greatest teacher that ever lived taught using stories. I think it's because we're less likely to see an accusatory finger pointed our way, and thus we're more likely to listen and analyze. Thumbs up from me!

  • that was your dream? whoa

i feel that my dreams last for like 3 minutes(or atleast i remember 3 minutes of it..)

    thats pretty damn nice though

  • Good word my friend! Dream or Vision?

  • Good story.

  • To dream. Something I can not do, and this makes me wish I could. I think while I sleep. It is a great story, and you told it very well. If it was 1980, Disney could make it into a movie. Back in the 80s, we were not afraid to teach our young about struggle, life, and death.

  • Wow brother, really well told. My dad used to tell stories in that kind of style when I was a kid and it brings back some memories (he's been gone 21 years now). Thanks for that. Great story too, even if it does seem to be the from collective sub-conscious of all "human sheepdog" (Hate to TNP my comment but it fits lol). Quite the fable:) Thanks again!

    P.S

Last night I had a dream....I ate this HUGE marshmallow! I woke up...and...my pillow was gone! LOL

  • I have heard this story before, though not as nicely done. It was about 20 years ago and told by a "guest Instructor" who wore no insignia other than name Smith. I got it then, I get it now.

  • Great story.

    The rancher = politicians.

  • Mmmm lamb chops.

  • Very good story. A context for new viewers might be necessary but still a good scorpion & the frog story.

  • wow

sheepdogs= police military and good citizen types

    sheep= the public

    wolves= mad men and zombies

  • Great story, expertly and very thoughtfully imparted. Your tale is very well received here indeed. The message is clear, but sadly the sheep WILL continue to make the choice to hand themselves over to the wolves, over.. and over ..and over again. Unfortunately.. the sheep have a very short attention span and an even shorter memory. Thanks again

  • Thank you, brother.

  • great story

  • Did you say in the "Ozarks?" Just wondering if you're from Arkansas.....

  • @chasedillardark Nope, but I am aware of the legends and lore of the Ozark Pirates.

  • stop eating before bed, dude :P

seriously though, that was pretty intense and it didn't go at all the way i thought it would. but i got it, i think. nicely done, brother.

  • Is this a dream or parable, my friend??? Either way, it's insightfull.

  • You are great story teller, I loved every minute of it... And yes, understand your "Dream:".
