Weren't you guys afraid of avalanches? I live in Boise, and get quite a bit of snow action around Idaho City- I've heard some crazy horror stories....

haha why do you need a beacon on while riding that lil thing? you wont be climbing anything steep or deep enough for an avalanch on that.

yeah theres a fairly low chance but wearing a beacon seems like a small inconvenience when it could save your life
