@NUTELLAInc Aerodynamics. That position (arms behind the back) is the difference between a 20mph roll down the hill and a 45mph bomb down a hill.. Think about it this way, our skateboards would be able to hit over 100mph EASILY with nobody on it (lol, im talking science here tho). With a person on the board, there is a big limit to how fast it will go and aerodynamics maximizes every possible mph you can get out of that particular hill.
Thanks man. It may have gotten up to the 40s in some parts. Best part of that road is after it cuts though, easily 50+ on a huge sweeping right into a straightaway.
what a beautifuly fast hill! any idea on what kind of speeds you were goin? and is this in socal by any chance, if so i would love to go skate that hill... again beautiful hill and slick riding!
i think i would of gone a bit paranoid seeing all those cars go the opposite way

@Jackasswannabe08 also a fish eye lense makes things look a lot faster

@Jackasswannabe08 actually not really, all you would need is some bear grizzly 852s or 840s, 2 good downhill trucks.

You must have phenomenal trucks to bomb that without stability issues. i.e. speed wobbles.

i;ve always wondered
why do they like...put their arms behind themselves and slightly bend their knees
what does that position mean?

Thanks man. This hill is probably 25 to 35 until you get to the last bit (not in this video) which is around 40 or 45. This is near Yosemite.
