This is a beautiful video, and Hope is a beautiful dog. I am so glad that there are people out there who are taking good care of her. It just makes me sad to think of all the stray dogs in the world, or dogs born with deformities like this and aren't treated properly and abandoned. I hope people will change their mindsets and see these poor things as being just as important as fellow humans, and not treat them like toys to be played or chucked as they like.
I wish there was a law that people were not allowed to breed dogs or cats unless they had been proven in the show ring and are licensed breeders. Too many of these poor, deformed puppies were born this year...there were 3-4 Chihuahuas and that poor Lab cross, and I am sure others that we haven't heard about or that were drowned at birth. A very sweet pet, but PLEASE somebody get the owners of the bitch to have her spayed or give her to someone who can afford to have it done!

There are far too many abandoned, abused and sickly dogs and cats having to be euthanazed each year because of poor breeding and thoughtless pat owners The US Humane society figures 6-8 MILLION a year. We need to get more stringent laws for pet-ownership at least until the unwanted pet population is under control.

I am in love. We have a maltese with one missing leg and the other is deformed (back legs are okay). He is the happiest little man. Thank you for saving Hope.
