  • I don't speak Swedish but I think whenever he's singing in Swedish his voice just gets better then he does in English.

  • my neighbours are big fans of falconer :P

    One day i saw one of them wearing a falconer t-shirt!

    FOLK AND POWER FROM GREECE!

  • recently i havent been satisfied by the music i listen to. so i just thought of falconer, who i hadnt listened to in awhile, and they have satisfied my music longings.

  • motherfuuck, falconer is righteousss

  • nice :=)

  • This album is so good musically that it could have been a major international breakthrough for them. However the majority of the album being in Swedish killed it dead and took away it's international appeal in one fell swoop. They should have released the whole album as a double CD, the Original Swedish and a full English language version. Falconer have seldom put a foot wrong since Mathias Blad's return, but this decision was the exception.

  • @holydiver73 i actually prefer the swedish version (i'm english) and i think the song just sounds more natural in swedish, that may just be because i heard it first in swedish ofc.

  • @kiriyama1

    I completely agree. It's the way he sings the word "Grav" in the chorus that made me fall in love with this song. Weird, I know.

  • @holydiver73 The many swedish songs makes them stand out from the crowd in my opinion. Relatively few artists sing in swedish even i Sweden. Might be partial but swedish also carries Mathias's voice better. :)

  • @holydiver73 Definitely have to disagree with you there. So few artists from that area sing in their native tongue, I think it's wonderful that they put out an album in Swedish. And I agree with Egrimm82 in the fact that Swedish carries Blad's voice much better than English.

  • @holydiver73 I'm Swedish so I'm probably biased, but I disagree. Having heard both the English and Swedish versions I prefer the Swedish ones alot more. But yes, it will probably put alot of non-Swedish speakers off, but there'll be translations available pretty much everywhere on the net.
