ok guys im 14, live in grand junction CO, and I am most likley going to buy the 48cc because i heard the 80cc would not be street legal. One of the sites I was thinking of buying on said 48cc's is legal anything more is ileagle to ride on the street. do any of you know any different and how so?
No, start it with the clutch disengaged and pedal for a bit to get starting and then release the handle to engage the clutch and the CDI box with charge from the magneto coil sends spark through the cable and spark plug into the chamber where the cycle is complete and continues until you power off the bike
do these things brake by reverse throttling, or should i think about putting v-brake on the wheels? i dont think a coaster brake would get the job done.
you live in australia and this particular engines output is 1600 watts and the law states bicycles with an engine output of more than 200watts is classed as a motor vehicle and must be registred.
The government has already banned combustion engines on bicycles in queensland and NSW will soon be too.
With these things becoming more popular i can see a crackdown nationwide very soon
front break is 80% of your stopping power on a bicycle and or motorcycle. always better to have that than a rear break.

dk5293 2 years ago
I was riding the bike with 1 hand using the camera and the other to use the clutch/throttle/brakes
