  • LMAO thats gotta be the dumbest ever, using a static wrist strap then hooking everything to a cuddly toy thats a static hazzard and even draping it across the whole boards components....what a epic FAIL

  • Is this a serious video cause ive nver seen anything so stupid ,Ive manhandled every processor ive ever owned and they all run great! Just pick the thing up and install it!!

  • Bad move...that sheep or what the hack is, it's made out of synthetic material, that means that is not antisatic material, it conducts electricity.

  • @adiphoto I'm usually very cautious when it comes to ESD. Don't know how i overlooked that. Hopefully being grounded at the anti-static wrist-strap saved the day....I now have a suction cup independant of any child's toy! ;)

  • If you go to the Newegg website or maybe Amazon, they might have those things called "gloves". I'm not sure though...

  • @SimplyCarLo - Yeah, i've got some rubber gloves i was gonna wear, but i was grounded by the anti-static wrist strap anyways. The main reason i used the suction cup was to get the cpu onto the LGA as square and flush as possible. By the way did you like my guitar playing? :)

  • @richardnja: That's you playing?! Nice. Pretty legit, I'd say. Better than me for sure, haha!

  • My life is much easier!
