Just realized that the song including the lyrics was an homage to Sly and the Family Stone.... one of the first Major Acts with a Mixed Race and Mixed Gender Members.

SandtheFS was also one of the few artists back-in-the-day that got regular rotation air play on black and white radio stations

When I realized what Sly Stone track had been sampled for Rhythm Nation, I came up with a remix like this in my head. So when I first heard this track, I thought this "DJ Reset" person (the remixer) had read my mind! :-D
The whole CD (Diff'rent Strokes by Diff'rent Folks") is pretty good.
