Derek's character is loosely based off of a combination of my three brothers and the Derek from the TV show Life With Derek.
That's funny that it sounds like your brother..

Poor Nick doesn't want to hurt Ashley but he really wants to be with Liz. Guy is really in a pickle.
And Jo and Kevin are just so sweet together. They're always lovey-dovey.
I hope the night goes well. I have a feeling drama will find its way through though.
