Why won't they just put the ENTIRE debate up? Why are they just putting up clips and commentaries of the one position? Sounds fishy to me. Plus that Morey character rarley displays the fruits of Gal5:22. Please put the entire debate up. Only showing one side shows weekness.
The problem "peckpuck22" is that we are only allowed to put a 10 minute video on Youtube. Youtube will not allow us to go longer than 10 minutes therefore we CAN'T post the entire debate due to time restrictions. If you want to see full version Campbellite debates then go to GOOGLE VIDEO or YAHOO VIDEO (search LARRY WESSELS once on their homepage search box) then look for them. We have a 22 hour debate ("Week Long") & a 13 hour hour debate ("Is Holy Spirit Just in Bible Only") for starters.
@CAnswersTV Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! Ill check them out ASAP and maybe open some sort of dialogue about it. I'm not a big fan of looking to people to discredit a movement, only their doctrines. Have a blessed night. - Heb11- all of it.
Thanks for the comment "peckrpuck22" it is appreciated. Keep in mind that we currently have about 275 hours of video posted on the internet at this moment (VIMEO, GOOGLE VIDEO, YAHOO VIDEO, YOUTUBE, & CLIPSER, search LARRY WESSELS on their respective homepage search boxes). We still need to upload between 200 to 300 hours of video & I believe we have not as yet done so with this particular debate. Uploading videos is a time consuming affair when you have as many as we do. Blessings to you.
Actually, God hates any division in the Body of Christ, including the adamant defending of any denomination. In the true Body of Christ, there are not Baptists or Methodists, or Church of Christ, or whatever, only born again believers.
"pegcage" I noticed you aren't quoting any scripture but simply just giving us your opinion. Try 1 Corinthians 11:18-19: "For first of all, when ye come together in church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." Romanists & Campbellites claim they are "born again" by water baptism. Some Campbellites say the Holy Spirit is NOT in Christians. Try Galatians 1:6-9.
@pegcage Perhaps, but I give no quarter to a Mormon, a JW a Christian Scientist, a Cof C, a Mooney etc do you know what most Cults have in common? most of them in one way or another they can be traced back to Campbell. I realize that C of C people think they are main stream Christians however, in order to be so they must denounce thier cultic practacess of baptismal regeneration, denial of the Holy Spirit, denial of the rapture and the 5 acts of worship as if there is a rule book in the NT.
The information regarding the founding of this "movement" is untrue. Many actual church records of churches within this movement dated 1600's and earlier are available on the internet.and easily found. I find it hard to believe that this man is ignorant of this fact. I know Bob Ross is not because I corresponded with him regardinfg the matter.
@LearigSarah Your conclusion is patently false. While there may be "claims" concerning "churches of Christ" in the 1600s based on bottles or tombstones or whatever, the fact remains that the modern day Campbellite movement did not come from the 1600s but from Alexander & Thomas Campbell, Barton Stone & Walter Scott in the 1800s. Check out our 22 hour debate with Campbellite Bill Jackson on YAHOO VIDEO (search LARRY WESSELS once on their homepage). Jackson made the same ridiculous comments.
