While in Interstella 5555 the majority of the human race are actually supportive of the outerworldings who've been held against their will. They all take the chance to listen to what had happened, instead of going the wrong way, and illiminating on sight for testing. It's scenes like this that make me hope the human race isn't what we're like in say, District 9.
