Nice poem, excellent music. While not descriptive, the words reflects the atmosphere of the town and the bar very well. Also I always laugh out loud when he says "... he's up north for a nickle's worth for armed robbery".
This seems such a classic, nostalgic piece of Americana. Really like it. He gets it across so efficiently and beautifully. What a maestro. Ditto to 'God Bless'.
