I am really enjoying your quilting! You manage to keep a very even stich even when you are going quite slowly, and that is not easy. I haven't yet found a metalic that takes well to free motion, so I will definately try your YLI silk ( I take it the sheen is because it is silk?). You mark with chalk? Do you free hand mark or make a template?

@pinktext Hate to be a pain, but if you use mostly silk thread, what fabric are you using for your tops? are you cotton, silk, cotton sateen, or something else? Thanks
