The Wildhearts are the best english band ever to have played. And yes, that includes greats like Motorhead and Iron Maiden.... only the Wildhearts wrote "Miles Away Girl" and "My Baby is a Headfuck" and the rest.... in fact, they are better than the beatles. They aren't as famous as other bands because there will always be more morons in the world than people with taste.
It takes balls to say The Wildhearts are better than The Beatles (who if you remember, were better than Jesus...sorry , bigger than Jesus). When I was 13 my two favorite bands were The Wildhearts and The Beatles, these days I I listen to Ginger n Co more than Lennons Lot. When I first got a CD player, the very first CD I bought was Earth Vs The Wildhearts, I had never heard them or heard of them, I got it because it was a cool name and they had cool song titles. I was blown away. They still do.
also I thought a pantera fan might at least appreciate The Wildhearts....after all they have in the past appeared on the same bill at music festivals.
Kinda pisses me off that Ginger always gets landed with the drugs queries. But I guess America is rediscovering The Wildhearts on a different scale now and this is to be expected.....still i'd rather they focused more on the music....
Ginger is a musician The Wildhearts play music. Note the lack of any questions about that in this interview.
