The truth is you gotta splat the cat. I was going to Atlantic city with my Sister in laws Dad driving and a Squirrel ran into the road. It tried to dart back to the side of the road & Rich (the driver) kept straight & took it out. His Wife was horrified & traumatized. If she was driving we most certainly would have swerved, possibly killing us & or others. I'm sure of this judging by her reaction. Rich was calm cool & collected.

another conclusion can be made from this video...

one thing i've always been taught and will teach my kids in the future is to NOT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT JUST TO AVOID HITTING A CAT/DOG/SQUIRREL/RABBIT (swerving to miss a pedestrian is completely acceptable). if it means swerving into oncoming traffic, completely fucking your car up and flipping it (like in this movie), or anything similar, run the fucking animal over. it's an ANIMAL, not a human being...get the fuck over it.
