A centipede would have too many weak points. Need to armor your mobility system and make sure you can operate on both sides to avoid people like El Toro/T-minus. Then just incorperate a weapon to work with your setup, like some pneumatic spikes to jam into their circuit boards :P

What I would do is make it with titanium-aluminum alloy, high tensile strength, and a multitude of servomotors! Hopefully I could make something with a grip strength equal to over two tons psi! Sounds fantastic, but it's doable.

whooo hooo go oddbott3!!!! i miss robotics. and last year sucked because everyone built 15lb bots. my sophomore and junior year had tons of 120lb bots. and to war723. some of the bots shown do suck but there are alot of very good bots actually there, except the teams that dont do anything to their robots year after year and just register the same one every year. like pretty in pink. baypath went up against them sophomore,junior and senior year and every year the robot was the same.

The original BATTLEBOTS was cancelled for no reason, and yes it was cancelled.

It was replaced by the "new" show ROBOT BATTLES, but RobotBattles had new stuff added into it.

And many people are complaining about how tv producers should have kept BattleBots.

OK people for everyone say battle bots isn't around anymore doesn't know what there talking about.  The show isn't around any more but this is battle bots IQ were collage robotics students compete. The original battle bots is also around but its not like it was before. So yes battle bots are still around. Im sure if you look around there might even be a league around were you live. I know here in michigan we have a few but there mostly antweights.

The guy's robot from my school is at 1:40 (not the pink one). We took a hit then but won that round shortly after. The impact was too much for the pink robot. I personally have been on an all girl's team for the past 2 years now for battle bots (now "BotsIQ" for high school/college divisions). Its pretty sweet.

god battlebots was awesome, then all of a sudden it just dissapeared, then that stupid, over elaborate robot wars came on tv, robot wars sucks, bring back battlebots, i dont wanna watch some corporate piece of shit robot that costs 50,000 dollars to make destroy home made machines that a team of 4 or 5 spent countless hours on because they have a passion for building them. its like watching a grown man beat up a baby, its one sided and therefore boring.
