Why is Obama trying to impersonate Rev. Wright. This is not how he normally speaks..
He doesn't have to put on this kind of act for the NAACP, he has there vote already.
What does he know about the struggle of the people this group represents. He was raised by a white mother and grandparents in Hawaii. Have you noticed he conveniently left this important bit of information out while talking to this group. What we have here is a guy who "reads" a damn good speech - and the buck stops there.

Just because as you say he can "read" a great speech does not mean its not true. Yes he was raised by a white women and raised by white grandparents, but he also grew up after 18 having difficulties as being partially black.
I am so tired of ppl trying to say he can't talk because of this and that. Regardless of that he speaks the truth because unfortunately there are a lot of ppl in the black community that make excuse. Your comment sounds like an excuse not to take action.

He gave this speech because it's the NAACP's 100th Anniversary. There's more to this than votes. It's mostly about reminding all of us that there are still issues, but that these issues are no excuse for failing or doing poorly.
He knows about the struggle because he lives in this country, and these things happen to everyone, regardless of whoever raised him.
I really don't see the point in attacking this great speech; you seem to be ignoring the message.
