Hey Force. I was wondering if you could bring up the topic of Linux native installs for popular games. I would really like to migrate to Linux, even with all the quirks and adjustments I will have to undergo (have Ubuntu installed for a few months now), but the fact that I can't just close what I'm working on and start playing my games forces me to be on Windows most of the time. When it comes to used games, it is really hard for the original mfg to prevent legal resale. There are significant hurdles that they would have to over come and would likely be challenged in court. As the end user you have the right to do with the game as you please and when you sell/trade/give/ect, you transfer the EULA rights to the next person. I had to go through the hassle of emailing a cs dept to get my game to work but it did work. Know your rights!

The additional content in Witcher 2 on XBox 360 will be available for PC version also. And no, you won't have to pay for additional 3-4h's of content, it will be added through free patch.

The console market is much different than the PC market, games are often lent to friends or taken to a friends house to a play. This doesn't happen in the PC market, which is why its much more common for games to be tied to an account. I think that Microsoft will lose a ton of customers if they go through with this.

downloading games not only makes it easier for people these days, like steam they not only sell the game but give exclusive items for the games that they offer and they also have games cheaper than most stores that sells them for example games at a store like gamestop or walmart still go for retail price even though the game was released months ago you could get the same copy on steam for cheaper and its also convenient steam keeps track of your game so you can never lose a game you have bought
But the thing is Force is that this would involve needing to always have an internet connection or bringing your own console with you whenever you go somewhere because you wouldnt be able you play YOUR games with it. This is especially true if you buy a game like skyrim (*insert another random single player only game*) on the xbox, go over to a friends house to show him and you are unable to play it because you need internet yet it is a 100% single player game...

When you try logging in it tells steam you are interested in the app. Now you just have to wait and see if you get an invite.
But yes, it is a Beta and it's invite only.
