  • Yea, they have got a twirler!!!!!

  • lol Majorette?

  • and play more difficult music..this is ok 4 like pep band but or a parade but really not for marching

  • it was probably during playoffs when marching bands are not allowed to march they can play songs like this that are less than like 5 minutes but they cant march the shows are generally to long

  • this is one of our stand musics

  • im in middle school and i play the bass clarinet and we just got this piece and is kinda hard to play cuz yuo have to playan a then b thena then b kinda fast and its kinda hard

  • Use alternate fingerings

  • the band sounded great but the drumline is pathetic...and there is fucking way u can play a double g...thats lie saying a freshman tuba can play a grand b flat

  • being a freshman has nothing to do with how well you can play. it depends on how long you have been playing and how you apply yourself. dont be stuck up. hater

  • fuck u pussy im a freshmen and im really really good..i can play a Grand Bb on tuba but what i meant was not ever! can do that

  • I love this song. we play it at all our football game. every one loves it at my school

  • This is one of our stand tunes... Was this an actual half-time show?

  • 0:01

  • i am in band. marching is my favorite. i am a full blown band geek :P and this is my favorite song. it gets us all pumped :)

  • haha. no way a freshman can hit a double g....lol. get a life and stop making yourself sound good. me geing a senior first chair trumpet player. for 7 years. and making state 5 of those 7. i should know you cant hit a doubleg

  • pennise

  • man they suk im in the morehead middle school band and were playin that for our concert next week and were sixth graders i swear

  • what do play, sax? on trumpet this song is the biggest lip waster ever. there is no way a sixth grader can even probably play high G for that matter. I on the other hand am a freshman and can play beyond double G.

  • i can play up the the triple c :P and im in 8th grade

  • Im in eighth and i have a hard time hitting that :p

  • i no im still better than you luuuuuuuuuupe

  • its land of a thousand its just a little different...

  • JANSSE BAGGE

  • my school band plays it way better and we r in the seventh grade

  • Not the way they play it. by the way we play it the same way see my above comment . the way high schools play it , its twice as high and twice as fast. so seriously shut up people.

  • Yeah, sorry. On that last comment, I actually meant to reply to someone's comment about why they are not marching and that this song sounds like it should be played in the stands instead of on the field.....

But I still think the guard would have a whole lot more fun if they used some hoops or something.

  • Why does the colorguard just stand there? They should get some hoops or something to add some visuals. That's what our guard uses for stand tunes.

  • yeah i dont need the sheet music to know its Land of 1000 dances. come on people its not that hard.

  • thats go for it...its not land of a thousan dances...i would kno im in band

  • i have the sheet music right in front of me for trumpet & i can tell you that is lo100dances.

  • This is definitely land of a thousand dances.

  • lol just played it in pep band... and im not a moron. it is.

  • who is the by??

  • i was watching the drum majors and the entire band seemed to be WAYYY off! and all i could hear was trumpet.

  • I'm in 7th grade and McGarvians are the best in O.C. says the papers and magazine. I'm not saying they suck. But McGarvin band is pretty good. As good as them. And we are Intermediate School

  • I know i said the lyman gilmore band rocks but not just this song everyone needs to stop saying that you play better then this band. THey are pretty good and plus it is on video so it doesnt sound as good

  • I luv this song im 8th grade and play it in the Lyman Gilmore Band we rock!!!!!!!!!!!

  • have u ever heard of Fossil Hill Middle School in Keller Texas. ask your teacher about them. i graduated from there last year and we entered a national contest where the top 4% of everyone are the winners. we won. so ask your teach maybe he can let u guys know more.

  • Sorry, this is a good song and all but i go Langham Creek High. and we make this song sound WAYYYYYY better :)

  • my middle school band played this song at a parade earlier today its on my channel check it out and please if you have any tips for us this is my second year playing trumpet and i want to sound really good so please help and if you don't like our band don't leave nasty comments.

  • I love playing this song with my school band. Open fingering and 1st fingering. I love it!

  • im sorry to say, but i think our band does it better! no offence!

  • OUr band does it way way way way way way way better!

  • but my band does it five times better then anyones! WAH! lol

  • no my band does

  • No but band does

  • i have to play this song for lake howell high school and im in 7th grade and fresh out of beggining band!

  • i'm 3rd chair saxophone at school and we are playing this song! HONORS BAND!!!! this song rocks!!!

  • No, this is definitely Land of 1000 Dances!

  • i play trombone and im in the 11 grade. I learned this song after the second time...the song is VERY repative...therefor its easy to memerize...

  • Dange we are playing this in mIddle school and we still go fasger then this! and its really hard for our twirlers!

  • dude thats stand music and relatively easy to play and remember

  • Seems a little weird for them to be playing such a simple song on the field instead of just in the stands. And even stranger that they aren't at least marching to it... just kind of standing there playing an easy song. No offense... just seems unusual.

  • This is probably a pre-game show. Most bands use stand tunes for pre-game shows, but they don't learn marching drill for them. They are too busy working on drill for the half-time show.

  • this is an easy song to remember, im playing it at a festival soon and i got it down.

  • but you aren't allowed to use flip folders on the field. my band doesn't at least. we memorize all of our music.

  • They have music folders that attach to their instruments

  • do they have to memorize music? cause im only in middle school and i am curios cause i cant memorize music very well.

  • im in middle school band and this piece is very hard for me, i cant go from the c to the b flat its to hard for me. oh and our high school band are the national champions they will kill all of you

  • pretty good, but your tuba's should play out their moving eith notes more

  • wtf my jr high band plays twice as good as this shit high school band you fail terrel high

  • but can u march?

  • not "impressing" "entertaining" isnt that wat the crowd wants?

  • not a good song

    for presentation =]

    too easy =/

  • most of the crowd cant play it so they think its hard

  • yea..

but when it comes to band..

most of da time you dont play to impress da public...

you play to better yourself and the band...

  • thats true when concert season comes around, but when its marching season, apart from half time, the bands job is to play pieces that are easy to learn, fun to listen to, and most importantly, extremely loud.

  • well...

if it were to be a football game(which idk if it is here) i understand...but they are ment to be played in the stands...to keep da crowd cheered up, not to present!...well,maybe middle school...its kus idk how u all do it, but we present our movements, or our "show song"(u all prob do too), and we leave all the other songs for da stands..but o wellll =] lol

  • i cant play crap wen it comes to instrument!!! i can only play sports. except football. its gay. jk ian.

  • sorry 2 say but a lil messy trumpets stickin out way 2 much bass line not loud enough

  • im not beening judgemental but in this song the trupets are suppossed to play louder because thats the kind of song it is. i play trumpet and i have to extremly loud in this song.

  • We're doing this song with Crazy Train, Rock Lobster, and Go Daddy O

  • gosh were playing this in middle school!

  • Same here!

  • we are too!! and its the same thing.

  • we did too

  • this sounds like my hs band

  • we play this all the time at pep rallys and football games

  • Actually the trumpet sounds actually form perfectly because thats the song's notes, its not bad playing.

  • It wasnt.. bad.

But at the same time... not good :\

  • the trumpets sounded a little strange...but all in all very good! :) also the snare wasn't loud enough. how many are there i cant see. :(

  • They were actually pretty good. They are awsome. Take that as a compliment.

  • lol

  • sounds good needs more low brass though

  • the first trumpets were horrible! they could use some lessons...

  • My high school band plays this song but its in a lower pitch. If ur invited to the tailgate party, the band plays just for us

  • my school band can play this song i think we play better than this band but thats just me.

  • I love this song so much!

  • cool!!

the band i'm in is playing that!!

  • Wow, you know we play this as a stand tune. They did not even march, they just stood their, and at the end the trumpets over blew.

    lcisd[dot]net

  • at least theyre in a formation of...something

  • looks like a bow tie

  • we play it for basketball games, with a pep band of about 25 and it is a hundred times better, and alot faster wich = alot funner, but this band is good

  • i love this song

  • The low brass could be louder, but it was good.We play this in the stands at our football games.

    haha

  • i go to fredericktown high school. im in the marching band and we have 40 members in the band. we would have more but they quit because they didnt like the new band director. we play this all the time. we can play it way better

  • do they even have a marching routine? NO?

  • gotta love the low brass i play tuba in the marching band and we play this song all the time

  • needs moar cymbal

  • I am in this band...this was at playoffs. I remember this. It was at the point of the year where no one cared. We did sound awful, BUT we did awesome at contest. This year is much better!

  • wow they suck!!!

our pep band plays this twice as fast and ten times as well.

    GO PL LAKERS!!!

  • lol...they alright, im in 8th grade and our band plays that same song wayyyyy faster lol

  • im in a high school band and half of our people play football so we only got about 20 people and are WAY BETTER.

    VASJ: CLASS OF 2011

  • wow the low brass of this band is bad...u can't even hear them at all...my marching band is sooo much better

  • our middle school band is made up of 7th graders and we play better

  • wow such a huge band and no UHH! that couldve been awesome. we have the same arrangement i believe.

  • we are playing this in band and no offense but we are way better and i am in middle school.

  • (b^.^)b drums could be louder though

  • Your euphs are a disgrace to my wonderful instrument. :( I can't hear them. It makes me want to cry...
