For 1982, they did a great job faking the violence and the dummies looked outstanding. Way better than the Friday the 13th movies. This movie went head to head with Texas Chainsaw massacre and I gotta say the gore in Pieces is more horrifying and graphic. I would definitely rate this in the top 3 "super gore" films of all time.

@Boogyman4050 But you have to admit there are a lot of funny and silly scenes in it, just as the elevator-scene. The butcher starts the elevator just to stop it again five seconds later and the girl didn't recognize the chainsaw under his coat. But yeah, the gore looks great for 1982, but hey The Prowler or Maniac were a year before so props on that.

and then 1 or 2a.m., i would be running to get into my car to get home sweet home!!!

christopher and linda day george did some of these, i think another one was mortuary......these bring back some scary memories !!!!
