great, but i don't think that it would fit with the other of Stadium Arcadium. Its simply a different style, and it would just not make the album. I could personally find a lot of songs to ditch instead of this, but The Chillies spoke and i love SA as it is!

They should make a few B-side albums though - or just put the SA b-sides on a side-track that can be bought seperately! Red, Hot and so great forever - PS: I look forward to the new album!

Flea is just a great musician in general - he can slap bass brilliantly, and he can impro. it's really, really quite difficult what he plays, the bass is a hard instrument to learn ona basic level. perhaps his trumpet playing helped him musically, but getting to that level on the bass must have taken some serious dedication. many people can slap bass - he makes it distinct and clear. bloody difficult. one of the best ever.

It actually started back with cassette tapes. When an artist released a new album on a tape, all the good songs were on the A-side and the overlooked songs were on the B-side. and like he said, when i came to cd's the "b-side" songs were just left off.

Well really B sides came about long before cassette tapes, around 1949 when the 45 (rpm) "single" came out. The term B side became popular in the 1950's. The B side was usually considered the less popular song and got less airplay though the Beatles among others had several "B side" hits (P.S. I Love You was one).
