Is there any chance you know the species name of this amoeba? I have found one very similar, but I do not know enough to tell if it is Mayorella Bigemma or Proteus. Or, something else entirely.

so what are all the things inside the amoeba? is that food the amoeba has hunted down still inside the amoeba?

There are several food vacuoles --places where the amoeba digests engulfed food particles. There is a prominent nucleus (dark with light surround)where the cells DNA resides. There are many very small particles that might be mitochondria although it's impossile to tell with a light microscope.
