  • Is there any chance you know the species name of this amoeba? I have found one very similar, but I do not know enough to tell if it is Mayorella Bigemma or Proteus. Or, something else entirely.

  • ITS AN ALIEN AMEOBA!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGG!!!

  • There are some tiny things moving in the background, what are these?

  • Bacteria. Many different kinds.

  • Bravo!

  • This is so amazing i love it

  • I think you mean: "You're all 'weirdos'."

But are you addressing the amoebae, or the people who study them? (And there is no need to shout.)

  • It's nice to share my body with those lil fellas.

  • Vey cool video!

  • Amazing video. You must have an amazing microscope too. Also, by any chance do you know about the polyphemus pediculus or have a video of one because they are really awesome looking.

  • errr idk wat ameoba is , but if it gets in ur nose, ur 'fucked'. mahiufjhaig!

  • I'm sure I got plenty of ameoba's up my noes and I'm fine.

  • so what are all the things inside the amoeba? is that food the amoeba has hunted down still inside the amoeba?

  • There are several food vacuoles --places where the amoeba digests engulfed food particles. There is a prominent nucleus (dark with light surround)where the cells DNA resides. There are many very small particles that might be mitochondria although it's impossile to tell with a light microscope.

  • I like it
