  • A legend singing about a legend. Great stuff. Keep up the posts livingadream2

  • This has ALWAYS been my favorite song of his - and I am learning it. I hope i can get Kayton Roberts oto back me up on it in the near future. I have always loved Freddie Hart - he is personable, friendly, a wonderful person, and I try to go and see him all that I can when he is int he Nashville area.

  • I'm 72 AND JUST LOVE TO HEAR HIM SING SUCH A TRUE REALLY PERSON YOU ALMOST FEEL WHAT HE FEELS WHEN HE SINGS HIS SONG S HEARD HE;S GOT A CHRISTMAS ALBUM OUT KNOW WHERE I CAN GET IT .THANKS L. K .

  • I'm 65, and I might have been about 13 when Freddy came out with "Drink up and go Home". Dad bought the record, a 78 RPM, I still have that record. Ive been a fan for over 50 years, still enjoy him.

  • 1st time I ever heard this song was at Hickam AFB in Hawaii when i was in the Navy in 1974. Freddie did a show at the enlisted men's club, he did a lot of shows for the servicemen & women. He came and sat with us and talked for a while, he was a real person who appreciated what the people in the military were doing for our country.

  • Thanks for sharing that with us! I'm glad I could bring back "good" memories during your time in the Navy! Thanks for the comment and for listening!
