Personally, I still think it's better than BC2's. Sure, you could take down a building... The same building copied over, and over, and over again. It's over done a bit, but it's still better.

I'd take a more dynamic map over a copypasta one.

Fuck I hate that. No, it did. It had a grant total of 5 different building - that of which were heavily scripted, and looked like crap.

This is far more dynamic, and I love that. The only thing BC2 did better, destruction wise, was ground deformation.

Yeah its pretty much the same destruction as BFBC2. It'd be better if they made it simply more difficult to destroy something. Like C4 or rockets only took out holes in the wall you can shoot/climb through. Whereas tanks/jets can totally destroy the wall and building in one go. It'd give the vehicles more value too.

Maps should be able to be reduced to a flat plain of rubble, but it should take an utterly ridiculous amount of ammo :P

Though, I agree with the "just making holes" part. That would be sick. It'd be even sicker if bullets could make holes in the wall.

Well yeah not every building is destructible, that's a problem thought we can blow up Hotel building on Oman, Sharqi, some big buildings on Karkand can be damaged, while some are untouchable.

Only the one story buildings are destructible in B2K . In G of O , there are about 5 or 6 , including the gas station .

@noerden91 You're almost right , in Heavy Metal , there are 12 buildings , all destructible. But , I can't compare what's happenning in a session with 64 players , so many features for each one occuring in the same time , all this in a huge and rich environement . It's a small price to pay ... BTW , all the buildings destructible in BFBC 2 are 1 story . See ya around !
