I hate it when people come to these informative videos looking for something, and then end up insulting the person in the video.....like seriously that is so lame -__-
You said you used bleach on your hair before right.. Did you put the color on the previously bleached parts too.? Or just the roots? And was the 12aa permanent or semi permanent color? Thanks for posting..
cool video i was looking to dye my hair back to the white blonde i had but i didnt really wanna bleach it loads thanks for this video x i allways used 40 volume instead of 30 cos it gives better lift check out my videos and you'll see xx
Could you use this for dark brown hair? I'm trying to dye the underneath layer of my hair platinum blonde but I don't want to bleach it if i don't have to.
my hair is kinda lik a dark brown with blonde highlights that r almost gone n im wantin to dye all of my hair blonde. not lik omg white but i dont want it gold, orange or yellow. my hair isnt so dark that it looks black but it is kinda dark.
i was wondering what i should use to dye. will u plz get bac to me on it asap? it would b bettr if u message me instead of comment bac.
@Chirsty76 Yes I am so glad I discovered it, bleaching just got to be too scary and damaging. Hey I have a question for you, when your clients use it, does it make their hair have a purplish tinge to it? Mine does but I am wondering if there is a way to avoid getting the purple tinge like washing it more or something. I have a method but I wish it was quicker.
So I've had my hair bleach blonde but I've never done it myself. Right now my natural is a light golden blonde. My end result is that I want to put some purple on the ends. But what I wanted to know is if you need a toner or if you were good to go without? Thanks you've been super helpful!
@anic8716 I do not think you would need a toner, since the color while developing is a blue violet it cancels out the yellow and orange tones. If you do think you need a toner you can go ahead and do it after :). Good luck!
Hey :) I have naturally dark brown hair and I really want it your colour without the bleach. I've dyed it i think 13 or 14 times in the past year! I know I'm nuts! But at the moment it's a sort of dark purple. What would you reccommend? Thanks :) x
I'm sorry if you mentioned this in your video but what is your natural hair colour? mine is a very dark blonde perhaps (mousy blonde almost brown looking) and i was wondering if the items you have used on your hair would work on mine to lifted the colour from the roots :D thankyou! x
@hotstuth My natural hair color is a dark blonde or dishwater blonde. I think it should work but if you are doing your whole hair blonde I would do bleach, then to upkeep the roots use this color :).
@lovestrucklovergirl Hey if I wanted to tone my hair to a white, would this be something I could use before toning or do you think I should bleach? My hair is a dark golden blonde naturally.
@enamouredification Hmm since you are golden blonde I think toning would probably be a good idea, you don't want any golden tones right? If you want white bleaching is the way to go, I prefer to be a extra light ash blonde. Good luck!
Didn't work for me x( The heat off of my scalp made the hair right next to my scalp a blonde, but the hair, like 5 cm away stayed brown. The rest of my hair was already a lighter color, so it looked like I had this hideous brown circle around my head... ;_;
I use that same dye for my hair. It works really great and the soy is much better on your hair. I mix mine with bleach but I think I'm gonna try it without bleach next time cause my hair does lighten very easily. It came out great!!! Glad you found a combo that works well for you!!! My cousin is a hair dresser and her hair is dark brown and she uses that dye with 40 volume for 60 mins. it works great for her. her's doesn't get as light as yours and it does come out kinda brassy & needs a toner
@LisaLuvsMAC Haha great minds think alike ;). I am so happy I finally found something for sure because bleach was just killing my hair. Yeah if yours is dirty blonde like mine it should lighten really well! Yeah I didn't think it would work as well for dark hair but if she can use a toner more power to her lol.
@lovestrucklovergirl Ya I'm like a dark blonde. I'm gonna try it it out next time. cause with the bleach it turns my roots white and my hair isn't that light yet, it's light but not as light as yours and I don't want to damage it. I've been trying to grow all this damage out for over a year!! LOL it's finally growing nice!! xoox
@LisaLuvsMAC Your hair is looking great as far as getting longer! Definitely need to be careful with the killing your hair lol. Do it and let me know how it goes! The dye plus developer makes your hair actually feel soft afterwards.
@lovestrucklovergirl Ya I never tried the soy developer so when I run outta the regular one I'm gonna have to try that!!! For my moms hair too cause I use the soy in a brown for her :)
Thank you for post info about your cousin's dark brown hair still turning brassy with this product. It means that she has red undertones. That saves me the time trying it out only to find that I would still have to use a toner, which is still a 2 step process. You saved me from being disappointed.
First question, where did u get the stuff from? And secondy, would it work on brown hair? Coz I wanna go back to blonde without bleaching so I was thinking of just lightening my hair to a light brown, so do u think it would help me get to a shade of blonde, I mean, I'm not expecting to get ultra light but as long as I can get a shade of blonde I'll just the John Frieda sheer blonde go blonder products after I hit a shad of blonde lol

I wish I could dye my hair blonde, but it is a very dark brown shade and would probably take a lot of bleaching to avoid coming out ginger

For how long do you let the stuff soak into your hair?
ccchhaannttaallii 3 weeks ago
@ccchhaannttaallii the bottle says 45 mins but I think it depends on how light or dark your hair is to start with.

@Hontaish Yeah you might have to bleach your whole head first then use this to do root touch ups every few weeks :)
